Lindsay 'Skips' Grandpa's Wake

We're waiting for Michael Lohan's next pop at his daughter Lindsay and her g.f. saMAN Ronson.
According to reports, LezLo skipped her grandfather's wake in Long Island this weekend to shop and hang out in Manhattan with saMAN.
We assume Daddy Lohan had his paparazzi partners in the bushes at the wake waiting for LezLo so they could capture some bankable shots.
Do you think Lindz should've showed up to pay respects, even if her fame-whore dad probably would've made it a spectacle?

Not neccessarily. It depends on how close she was to her grandfather, and if she is really, really angry with her father, she may not want to run into him. Plus, factor in the paps and they could have just amplified the situation.

People deal with loss in their own way and going to a funeral or wake does not equate love or mourning the departed loved one. Her father is a fucking asshole and I don't blame her for staying as far away as him as possible. He only uses her for ill gotten fame and to make a buck off her name.

Michael Lohan is toxic. Lindsay is absolutely right to stay as far away as she can. And JenniFooFoo is right: attending a wake has nothing to do with mourning a loss. Believe me, I've lost enough people to know.

If Lindsay has half a brain she will cut ties with her insane family (including the mother and sister) and focus on living her own life. She's been her family's pawn and meal ticket since she was a child. She's earned the right to go be a grown up without crazy fame-whoring parents and siblings turning her into a tabloid joke. These parents have destroyed any credibility this woman ever had as an actress.
She was probably afraid of the unruly hell her Dad was going to unleash on her. Hes a crazy man. He probably set up the Paps to come and watch the spectacle
She should have been there, inspite of her dad famewhoring. Pay her respects and in a way without saying anything sticking it to her Dad for what he said about her 'girlfriend' running her life.

If I was her i wouldnt have gone either. I wouldnt have wanted to face the man who continues to sell me out for pocket change or his family who allows him to do it. If she was close to her grandfather then she can mourn him in her own way on her own time.
I agree with her decision not to go. She can always go there alone to mourn him quietly. If she goes, her "father" (I use the term VERY loosely) is just going to make a huge statement to the press again and try to get himself back into the media limelight. I don't think that it's the case that she doesn't care. More like she doesn't want to be used by her Dad's fame-exploiting ways anymore.

I have no problem whatsoever that she chose not to attend her grandfather's wake. Perhaps they did not have a close relationship, or she simply wanted to avoid the media circus. Attending the wake is not the issue here. The issue is simply WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THIS HEINOUS CREATURE WEARING? Bedroom slippers and knee-highs with bows? And the "don't look at me" pose…love that. Probably for the best that she skipped the wake after all if this is what she planned to wear.

The paps were there at the wake.There are pics of the wake in the usual pro Michael Lohan sites.So she was right not to go after all.We havent heard though if any of the other kids did go.Also other sites report the wake and Funeral was on Saturday,while Samanthas and Lindsays walk around the Village was on Sunday afternoon.I guess they have to spin everything against Lindsay.
