As of 2000, there were 21,787 black people in Alaska, or a whopping 3.5% of the population.

      Alaska has black people, they are just in segregated areas just like in every other state. I went out in anchorage and got hit on by a black biker who was about 40. it was scary to say the least.

      I grew up in Juneau, Alaska. Yes, there are black people, but no, not many. One that you might be familiar with is Carlos Boozer, who plays for the Jazz. He was a year above me in high school. He graduated from JDHS in 1999. On another note, if Diddy is so concerned with the diversity in Alaska, he should look into the huge Filipino, Russian and Native Alaskan Indian populations.
