      I dont understand you people saying how you expected it to be like the original show… Yeah this is a SPIN-OFF of the original, BUT ITS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SHOW!!!
      Its not 1992 anymore, its 2008…
      I feel its going to get better and better as it goes along…
      Did anyone else notice Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez(Andrea & Jesse's daughter) at the very beginning of the show??
      And yes, Kelly & Brenda were amazing :)

      i watched it but i was kinda looking for more depth… some scenes are unbelievable like the guy taking a jet to san francisco for a date? most of these guys just hang out here in LA. there are a lot of good places to go here in LA so i think that was a bit unbelievable… but hey, anything goes… not bad for a season premiere. 90210 is my new CW favorite in CW, aside from Gossip Girl and Smallville(though this one is slowly dropping off my radar & doesn't excite me as it used to, the Smallville storylines are starting to bore me!)

      Honestly…I voted 'No' but I think it's going to be a show that grows on me. I just haven't warmed up to the new cast…I was too in love with the original cast and I really want them to bring more members back. I don't like the main girl in this new one…it will take me a while to get used to the new show. But I think if they keep bringing old cast members into the mix it will influence me to keep watching.

      It was OK - but I want more BRENDA!!! She's the only reason I'm watching and she was in about 2 minutes. Also, they barely explained anything about what she's been doing ever since she left. I hope they really give her a backstory and a love interest and that she sticks around for more than 4 episodes.

      The show was awful.

      Bad acting– the part where Annie gets into the music and sings? Horribly cheesy. I think superthin girls are pretty but they are parading her anorexia in that scene– notice how skinny she is compared to the other already thin girls? Chick has some issues already and she just left Toronto.

      Shenae Grimes seems to be very affected which makes her acting terrible. I liked the tie-ins with Erin Silver and Hannah Zuckerman but the rest of the show was just another crappy teenage drama like the O.C. and Gossip Girl (both, consequently, horribly acted). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get rid of Shenae Grimes from my television! She was bad enough on Degrassi! 90210 should be about the children of the original 90210 stars not this crap! Oh, and by the way, CW, thanks for "diversifying" the show with the addition of Dixon but making extra sure to explain he is adopted a million times. We wouldn't want the western world to have a leading family that would mix races illegitimately now would we?!

      I'm an original show watcher, and have waited for this for months! First, I loved all of the original show references thrown in for us older watchers. I was happy to see Nat, but not the 'trendy' Peach Pit. I'm surprised they threw in Hanna Zuckerman-Vasquez too! Second, the new cast wasn't too thrilling yet, and kinda boring. But I love how Kelly has a child and can't wait to find out if it's Dylan's or Brandon's! However, they made a BIG ERROR WITH ERIN SILVER about when her parents got divorced! WTF? She said that she was in EIGHTH GRADE when her dad cheated on her mom with her mom's best friend. NOOOOO! Erin was a BABY and Kelly and Brenda were still in HS. Kelly overheard the spa worker lady talking about her friend who was sleeping with a married dentist when all of the girls and Kelly and Brenda's mom went on that spa retreat!!!!! What a bunch of hooey!

      I want to add that I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed Shenae Grime's anorexic body. I even said it aloud to my daughter's, because we have watched Degrassi together, and she was never THAT thin. Scary.

      I thought it was great. After seeing the new NKOTB video earlier, then the premiere of 90210, it was all so nostalgic that I was left wondering what year it was. I thought they did a really good job capturing the feel of the original series, I'll definately be tuning in.

I think it would be such a good show if they developed more of a story line with the old characters. Annie is such a loser and a terrible lip syncer. I hate her!!!

      I liked it…The first show is always slow. It will pick up. I love Kelly and Brenda. Donna and David need to come back. I have to agree with some people the cast was not very attractive considering it is Beverly Hills…They also look way too old to be 15-16 yrs old….Let's see what next week brings

      Perhaps Steve will come back…as the Principals adopted son. I seem to recall Steve being adopted. Maybe Kelly's baby is Steve's. It had the curly hair. Then there will be a weird Kelly's son, is Steve's son, who is the principals son and Naomi's mother's son, and now they're all related…just like when Kelly's Mom married David's dad… Anyway, if so, it's a bad move…Steve was nobody's favorite character. He sucked harder than Andrea. I don't think it's Brandon's though…Brandon Walsh would never abandon his kid. That is totally Dylan territory.

      And finally…they are supposed to be in southern god damn california…where THE HELL are all asian and hispanic people? Retarded.

      Well, being such a HUGE fan of the original 90210 I was very curious about the new one…. The first part of it was a lil bit on the slow side. It got better in the second half for sure!! When Brenda and Kelly were standing at "the Pit" together (or whatever that place is now??) I swear my stomach sort of turned. Its been like 15 yrs since that happened!! I LOVED it!! The rest of the show was pretty good. I personally hope that they keep the "old fans" satisfied with the adult story lines and by bringing back some of the original cast members. Now that would be the best! The new cast will take some time to grow on me. It just didn't feel like home until Brenda and Kelly were back on the same screen. Even then, being an old fan watching the new it was very different!! Hopefully this will be a good show for all to watch, both new and old fans! If they are going to bring back such an awesome show that was in our lives for an entire decade and even bring back some of the original cast then they really have to step up and do it right! Lets just hope they do that and that we can all be happy!! Lookin forward to see what goes down next week…

      OK. I was amazed at how they could draw up the vibe of the original so well.
      The girls were styled in a way that was sooo 90s (very 90210..)..
      The acting was weak and somewhat forced (also very much like the original)
      The kids, despite being of the gossip girl generation, still had an overall square vibe (totally 90210) which gives us that guilty pleasure feeling.

      Sadly.. Brenda's return was very anticlimactic. She was bland as beige for the most part so I hope they make her a little more controversial otherwise the future Brenda of my imagination is waaay more interesting. I really dont care to know that she grew up to be a… loving and supportive friend who would babysit the kid so Kelly can go on a date.

      The funniest moment was when Andreas grown daughter Hannah was the anchor of the school news show and the teacher dismisses her by saying " what is she like 30??" and flips the TV off. A hilarious throwback to Gabrielle Carteris pushing 40 when she originally played Andrea Zuckerman. Her offspring grew to be an old looking nerd also. Hilarious.

      Silver seems to be the best character as the brunettes are on this show.

      All in all I would give it a rating of " so bad its good".

      you honestly can't judge how good a series is going to be by the first episode. look and friends and sex and the city and even gossip girl, they first episodes of all of those absolutely sucked and they all turned out to be great shows. Give 90210 some time to grow and evolve its characters and i'm sure it will be great.

The little 'actress' (finally an Andrea who is smart and doesn't look like Woody Allen!) is good too; of course, I loved seeing the old gals and Rob Estes. Another thing is - come on! Jennie Garth looks like a classmate, not an adult, thank you. Does that chick ever age and will Shannen ever clue in to the fact that she looks the hottest with bangs? Enough with that part in the middle f your forehead! It doesn't work. I'm glad she's on the show, but if it's just for four seconds of a screen time, I don't know if I'll watch gain. Sorry. I have to agree with those who say they were disapointed.

      I actually thought it was OK. It's not gonna get real juicy till like the 4 or 5th episode probably. That's just how shows are, they start to pick up…BUT..the whole Brenda/Kelly scenes were awesome. I wish there were more.       I think Brandon is the father of Kelly's kid. Remember earlier in the episode Kelly was on the phone talking to someone and she said "he asks about you all the time" and then she said something like "I gotta go. He just walked in." They said Brandon was in another country, so maybe he didn't abandon the kid, but took a job abroad or something like that.

      Let me just say, I'm an old 32 years old. I lived on the first 90210, never missed a show. I had to watch this new one just to see. It wasn't terrible. But nothing will ever touch the original show….ever.

      I'd rather see a spin off with all of the original 90210 characters now living an adult life…but I'll take what I can get….I'll probably keep watching it just to see what happens and because Kelly and Brenda are in it.

      HORRIBLE! I was a 90210 fanatic, and this show is a joke!!!! First, way too many anorexic girls! No joke, they must weight 60 pounds each! Second, the WORST WRITING EVER! 1. who gets a tatoo in 8th grade???? 2. They start class and then it ended 30 seconds later, 3. Whose mother would find a match book from a San Fran restaurant and assume you went to San Fran for dinner, 3. Kelly's son comes in and says I can't sleep, but is wearing crocs! Seriously…who is the continuity editor? This show is seriously crap. Trying to be Gossip Girl without the talent, writing, or wardrobe!
      OH, and I LOVE Brenda, but what happened to her face? It was very uncomfortable to watch.

      I loved Rob E. (from Melrose). I liked the scenes with Jennie G. and Shannen D. I hope they get a juicy storyline. We need some drama with the adults. I also love AnnaLynne (from Nip/Tuck).       Mediocre at best!!! The teen casting could have been a lot better. There were points in which i felt like these kids were being filmed for the first time ever. Like the scene where Annie joins the chorus on stage to sing. Ugh!!! It was just so over acted and terrible. that naomi chick looks like she's at least a freshman in college and honestly isn't all that pretty, in my opinion. It's just something about her face that seems unproportional. Her boyfriend isn't all that i expected either. They are certainly no Kelly and Dylan!!! Oh and is it me or does Annie look like Heidi Montags identical twin sister only with Brown hair. Very creepy. Annie was also way too skinny. You could see her bones protruding through her clothes in almost every scene. Please eat!!!! One of the things i did like though was the girl Silver turning out to be Kelly's sister. I thought that was a good connection. Overall I'd give it a 3 out of 10. Will still watch next week though because i'm hoping it gets better but i'm doubtful. The acting just really sucked from those kids!!! I know it's suppose to be a fresh new take on 90210 but it just doesn't measure up to the old one which is probably why i'm being so critical.

      I really liked how they linked a lot of the older characters back into the new show. Like Kelly, Brenda, Kelly's little sister Erin (who was blonde as a baby and now has black hair), Kelly's mother, and Aundrea's daughter!!! It was good and I just love that Brenda is back!!!       well the show was horrible, one dimensional characters, and it was typical and very, very predictable! i think the bday chick looks 35 and i mean annie looks super young, well she is 15 in the show, so i take that back, the black guy still has his (the wire) new jersey accent!!!!! and i mean there was so much drama pushed into the 1st two wpisodes its too much to hold on too!!

      the rating did well because the promotion! they put alltheyre money into this show! and i doubt it will last! i cnat imagins aying 6 monthjs from now, oh are you gonna go watch 90210! the chick who stole the purse, i mean come on, they need to allow the show to un ravelle not just dump all the crap into our laps, casting could have been better! i mean i dont watch gossip girl but atleast theyre casting and writers are deserving of the money they make!
