Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

I've never found her to be attractive nor will I ever. I find her to be quite repulsive. Not like the guy from the goonies repulsive, but her eyes kind of bug out and freak me out a bit. ALL her family members are unattractive to me… and I think them to be a bit psychotic and on the edge with multiple skeletons in those closets (probably thanks to their upbringing).

Wow, so much for LL's hopes of getting back on top of the game again. Now he's relegated to being an opening act for a woman, who barely sells enough records to qualify as an opening act HERSELF! I know I know, she's a legend, icon, blah, blah, I know all the talking points. But the woman has gone from outselling the industry damn-near to selling less than many of up & comers in the game, much less the chart-toppers like Beyonce, Alicia, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Mary, etc. Damn LL, talk about a comeback falling flat. Looks like Jay-Z was right after all.

Dude, none of the people from the 80's are selling what they did back in the day. Madonna's latest album tanked, Mariah's disappeared after the first single, Prince doesn't sale the way he use to and neither does George Michael, or Cyndi Lauper, but they are still succuessful as far as touring. People like to single Janet out for what ever reason, but the truth is, on her worse day, she's more successful than all you haters that keep trying to throw salt on her game. Shit, I could retire my wole family off of what you guys are calling Janet's flopped albums and for God's sake, people PLEASE LET GO OF THE SUPER BOWL. This woman is highly talented and has broken numerous records and I think it's really sad that all people want to remember her for is that damn incident.

Had the biggest opening tour ever, no one has topped her so far, and her music videos have influenced too many of today's current artists… There are too many haters who will hate. Rude Dude, I think you might have me misunderstood homie. I'm actually a lifelong fan of Janet. I went to every tour the woman ever had. The point I'm making was really directed as the blind cats who refuse to even acknowledge that she sells less at all. Those stepfords are the ones my comments were directed at. And in terms of naming people from the 90's, there are still some artists that still do big album sales business & can still have #1 singles. Say what you want, but R. Kelly's been getting called a child molestor for 6 years & he still has no problems putting out radio hits & still doing his numbers, regardless of the stigma hanging over him - which is worse than any stigma Janet has from the Super Bowl. And he's been out since '91. So if Kells can still sell after all that, then no one else has any excuses. It's because his music is still appealing to the masses, whereas Janet's music has lowered in quality & only appeals to her staunchest supporters anymore. Hence the sales dropoff. Some people have managed to keep themselves musically relevant over the years, while others have not.
