you should check o-zone, a band from romania, and listen to them because they have the original version and after that you should listen to rihanna and alina. O-zone has a pop version whereas alina and rihanna have dance versions that are made to be played in clubs.
Ok I need to get them to play this song at the bars now. I love it and its got a better dance beat than the original. At least to me. They did play a sped up original version though a couple weeks ago.

They had a huge succes in England and then the song became global. It's not "Numa numa" song, it's called "Dragostea din tei" - translation: "The love from the linden tree".
The band split up, went solo, one of them is the "Crazy Loop"- now very famous, and they sold their rights to Alina Puscau.
They made money to begin their solo careers.
