Will Matthew McConaughey bail these dudes out?
Two Malibu beach locals, Martin Peak and Philip John Hildebrand, who attacked a paparazzi photog snapping pictures on a beach where Mateo was surfing back in June, have just been charged with one misdemeanor count of battery for attacking the pap.
Each faces up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
Violence is never the answer, y'all!
Plus, Mateo is a big boy.
Why did his 'friends' act like he was a delicate flower that needed to be saved?

I saw that video. The paps were on a private beach so the locals confronted them and it turned into a fight. They threw some expensive cameras into the sea and shit.

the hildebrand guy might be Madison Hildebrand's brother. Madison is from the Bravo TV show Million Dollar Listing. Also, i think this hildebrand guy who was arrested is also a photographer.
Maybe they were protecting THEIR privacy.

actually. their names are SKYLAR peak and John Hildebrand. John is Madison's brother (from the bravo tv show) and is indeed a photographer. the incident happened at a secure private beach where u need a key to get in. they were being protective of other beachgoers and didnt want to be bothered by annoying paparazzi. skylar got stabbed in the hand and beaten with a tripod stick. its all on film. that's when they kicked the crap out of one of the photographers, it was self defense.

Don't freekin' try to tell people what to think after something happens. Nobody said that his friends were acting like he was a delicate flower that needed to be saved, that is YOUR lame post. We all know that paps are ignorant, intrusive, perpetual, uncaring, relentless…and they don't just interfere with the celebrity; they interfere with everyone else in his environment. Nobody said his friends did it to protect Matthew; maybe they did it to protect themselves or their children. You "assume" whatever you think will be sensational, and then try to turn it into a factual statement. You are scum.
