Brilliant But Banned!

The person who came up with the artwork is quite clever!
It's just the kind of poster you'd expect of a movie entitled Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
But, you wont be seeing this poster anywhere in the U.S. of A!
Booo!
The film regulation board has banned the use of the artwork in marketing materials geared for us Americans.
But, our more open-minded Canadian neighbors to the north WILL get to see it plastered all over their fine country.
Film director Kevin Smith said:
"When you've got the word 'porno' in the title, naturally, the marketing materials are gonna be scrutinized more closely by the MPAA. I understand they've got a job to do, but c'mon…this image isn't that dirty; they're both fully clad."
We can't wait for the movie to hit the theaters.
It will be interesting to see Seth Rogan in something other than a Judd Apatow movie!

I could care less about the challenges facing a Kevin Smith film, but good job casting Elizabeth Banks. She is smart, gorgeous, and very likable.
BTW, all countries have their own standards, and England is banning posters for the Jolie picture, "Wanted" for violence.
I want to see this movie so bad…I have a soft spot for Kevin Smith. Clerks is absolutely awesome.
Seth is a genius, I can't believe that anyone wouldn't like him. I am SO excited about this film, the trailer looks great, the jokes are hilarious….Counting the days.

If his promoting weed smoking to the tween/teen world isnt enough to do damage, here he is again 1 month later with porn =/ Seth Rogan is cranking these trash movies out like drugs straight out of crack houses. This poster is disgusting. And you blame Palin's daughter for being pregnant. Sex is totally normal to kids aged 12-17 now. I'm sorry, but that's just not right. They can't raise a child. They don't have money to pay for medical bills for STD's. The earlier they start, the more sexual partners they have, the more likely they are to be irresponsible about it, the more likely they are to get pregnant or get a venereal disease. So, yes, I believe that this poster is too innapropriate to distribute all over the walls and internet of our society. It just urges the idea to children ( who WILL see the ads) that sex is normal, everyday and okay. If you choose to engage in sexual intercourse, that's fine– it's your choice whether or not to do so. But I would hope that most of you make that choice as an adult and not as an irresponsible teenager.
