Her personal life may have been a little messy lately, but Anne Hathaway is kicking some professional ass!
Her performance in Rachel Getting Married, which premiered this week at the Venice film fest, is generating early Oscar buzz for the actress!
In the family drama, Anne plays Kym, a recovering drug addict who checks out of rehab to attend her sister's wedding.
"An award-worthy Anne Hathaway gives the story a clear central focus," wrote the Hollywood Reporter, while rival trade publication Variety called her "fragile, angry, superb."
Dayum! Both industry rags like!
We can't wait to see her in the movie!

Re: 31$@ Malignant melanoma is rapidly growing in this country and people are dying daily from it. There is no cure for this disease. I lost my dad to it two years ago. He was a beach lover and spent hours in the sun & always used suntan lotion but he still got mm. After watching him die a painful death I have gone back to my Irish roots and now prefer my pale skin, green eyes, and blonde hair. I don't care to ever lay in the sun again, and I used to be a real California girl, spending hours laying by the pool. No more. Melanoma is NOT a fun way to die. As the ozone layer continues to get thinner the sun's rays are more damaging, so it takes less time in the sun to do more damage than it used to. I urge everyone to be careful and use sunblock.

She may be the next Julia Ormand rather than Roberts, but I still love her. It's boring to read about her because she's such a lady.

I liked her in "The Devil Wears Prada", but she is not that great as an actress. Her acting is OK, nothing more. Regarding her looks Anne is definitely not my cup of tea. Her nose and teeth are too big, which makes her face look disproportional.
