The Next Superman Is?

With the success the Dark Knight had at the box office, it's only natural that they're going to come out with more superhero movies. Many MANY more.
The next talked about big superhero movie to be "reimagined" will be Warner Bros' Superman.
But the real question isn't when or if the movie will come out, it's who will play Clark Kent?
Several online fans have already been campaigning for actor Tom Welling (above left) for some time now.
Welling plays Superman on the TV show Smallville.
However, there's also a lot of support for homolicious British actor Henry Cavill (above right), from The Tudors.
Coincidentally, Cavill also auditioned for the role of Superman when they were casting for Superman Returns back in 2004.
He had also previously auditioned for the lead roles in Batman Begins and Casino Royale.
Maybe the Superman role will be his big break?
Also reportedly in the list of top contenders for the role is Canadian actor Victor Webster, who's been in various TV shows.
So whom do U think should play the new Superman?

Henry Cavill was author Stephenie Myere's, of the " Twilight" saga, preferred actor to play edward. Unfortunately, by the time they got to the movie, Cavill was to old for the part; according to Meyer's website….if they went with him, i bet a whole bunch of the "twilight" groupies would be all over it

You know, if Henry Cavill had taken the part as Edward Cullen that was offered to him in the blockbuster-to-be Twilight, I bet that there wouldn't be any hesitation about giving him the role. As a Twilighter, if Cavill had been our Edward, and had later been cast as Superman, I would have been the first in line to see him in the role (and I'm sure there would have been quite the amount of people behind me). However, seeing as Cavill turned down, not one, but two roles (Edward and Carlisle both) that would have featured him in 'Twilight, I don't give two shits whether or not he's Superman. Much less do I want to rush out and see him. Poor judgement of Cavill's part, eh?

If I had to choose out of those two, I would definitely choose Tom Welling. He's experienced in the role and he's amazingly good looking. But I don't see why Brandon Routh can't play Superman again. In my opinion, he did an excellent job as both Clark Kent and Superman. I don't see what the dilemma is.
