A Very Prestigious Honor
Fox's The Simpsons will be getting some big-named celebs to be part of their new season.
Jodie Foster will be among the list of stars lending her voice to the cartoon.
She'll actually be speaking as a grown-up version of Maggie.
Super cool!
Wait, does that mean Maggie grows up to be a lesbian????
Jodie's episode will air in early 2009 and is titled Four Great Women & A Manicure.
It's kind of a big deal that she's speaking for Maggie, especially considering that it's the only character which doesn't speak.
But, when Maggie did talk and uttered her first and one of few words, "Daddy", the voice used was that of Elizabeth Taylor's.
Not bad.
Also scheduled to play a part in an episode early next year is our fav good girl, Anne Hathaway.
She'll be a part of The Good, the Sad and the Drugly episode and will play a new, sweet and caring character that Bart falls in love with and tries to become "a good Samaritan" to impress her.
The 20th season of The Simpsons will air on September 28th.

blaa, blaa, blaa, Anne Hathaway is ok person but soooo booring. I don't think she has that extra star quality; you know showing pu$$y when stepping out of car, throwing crazy tantrums, getting drunk and high at the same time etc. I take Lindsay or even Jordan any day over her
they need to just pull the plug on this goddamn show….It was edgy and controversial like 10 yrs ago, back when married with children was on….although I havent watched an episode in about that long but seriously..even South Park has lost it's luster and they came out long after….

I had always assumed that the shows title was only shown, while scrolling through my satellite program guide, due to to syndication…and, NOT because it was still a current show.

Around my house we cal the Simpsons "The Holy Hour." The show is consistently scathing in its social commentary and no one is left out. It's also the only original thing on TV. Even South Park had to hail to the masters with their homage episode.
This is a good role for Foster. At least nobody will have to look at his ugly face. By the way Jodie, you need a shave.
