Looks like y'all are getting sick of Tyra Banks' schtick!
According to the just-released ratings, the two-hour Top Model premiere was down 11% from the February cycle and a hefty 32% less than the September 2007 series prem.
We're guessing the suits aren't liking these double digit drop offs.
The show totally sucks big balls these days, huh????

I am not surprised every show reaches its peak! Look at American Idol, Freinds etc. They all hit a wall soon! At least she has osmething fall back on if ANTM is taken off the air. She was smart enough to diversify into other projects and production, very smart girl!

i watched the show- it is kind of disgusted me- the girls she choses to partake in this. They are hood rats with no class- no true classic beauty. Until she changes the type of girls she goes after there will never be a model that lasts- no cindy crawford that's for sure.
i still enjoy her show. watched it last nite. but i really didnt like the whole futuristic crap they were trying to pull off. that was beyond stupid

ANTM, while extremely facile (not to mention corny to the max), is admittedly entertaining. At the very least, my friends and I have fun picking out which of the contestants we'd most like to get in the sack. haha

Tyra has officially LOST IT!!! That futuristic theme she was pushing was just plain LAME!!! Not entertaining, not funny, not cool (despite the special effets)… I love the shoots and the drama between the girls can be mildly interesting… but honestly how much more could Tyra love herself??? I'm sure in their 11th cycle they're finding it hard to come up with new ideas, but really? that the best you could do? Alpha Jay and Beta Jay? Tyra-bot? LAAAAAAAAAME!!! What are they smoking? It's not as if the show ever produces an actual "TOP MODEL"….None of these girls have ever shown up on a significant magazine cover. The only time you see the winners is on the Cover Girl commercials that run during the show's commercial breaks. Top Model? bullshiz
they really should have advertised it more, i maybe saw 1 commercial for it and that was it! good to know it's on now though, been looking for something to watch since the olympics were over other than Project Runway and Top Design and Moment of Truth!

I still love Canada's next top model and I like Canadia Idol better than American due to more diversity of music (not all hip hop and r and b). I watched ANTM yesterday and it wasnt bad.
She has eyes like a dead fish and a smile as phony. All previous seasons the girls were too "tranny" looking. Now a real tranny is on, and not a "tranny" comment from any of the judges. Seriously, the tranny guy is butt ugly, as in, he's definitely no Tula. Look her up. Now she is one hot girl (ex boy)
i loved the premiere. i think this season is one of the bests already. cycles 9 and 10 sucked mucho ass!!!!

I LOVE the show, and never miss and episode. Who cares if the models go on to do much (you see them now and then in magazines - who watches runway shows anyway?) The show itself is fun to watch.
If it wasn't for this show, we wouldn't have had Adrienne meet a Brady!

I quit watching. I mean, no "reality" show is a true competition, but at least they could pretend to hide that they have the winner picked out before the show taping begins.

I think that the main problem with Top Model is the fact that we all know that the best one never wins. It has been a consistent issue with ANTM, Tyra always chooses the girl that fits her agenda (with a couple of exceptions). Another problem is the judges, i think that Nigel Barker should be retired and replaced with someone with a more objective eye. To top it off, they are always asking the girls for contradictory stuff. They want a girl who is "couture" and not commercial but..HELLOOO, you have to be commercial to be a Cover Girl!!! So they either concentrate on purely high fashion or purely commercial.
…It's time for "America's Next Top Male Model". "Sometimes" you need to change it up a bit.

You know, I was watching Oprah the other day and I started thinking that who will replace her. My first thought was Tyra but then I reconsider, Tyra doesn't talk about books, Tyra has the guests that are borderline the same as Jerry Springer. So sad to realize, but when Oprah is gone, so will be any redeeming value on mainstream tv networks.
I LOVE ANTM no matter what! I love choosing who I like best. This season I love the personalities of Marjorie and Sheena. They are complete opposites but they're both sweet and caring. Mckey is the one who looks most like a supermodel. She'll work no matter what - esp if she learns how to pose. Brittany is uber exotic. Elina is scary but intriguing. Isis was the best last night in my opinion and she has to take so much crap. More power to her! Most boring: Clark. Why must girls like this exist? The world would be so much nicer without them. Who all do you like who are watching????

That's how it works on tv… you get a show run it for 10 years top and then quit and try to rebuilt a career… She is great but i guess she overexposed herself way too much, she really needs to give something different and fierce, she is stuck in the same old formula and so far none of the girls had a big break or showed why they where chosen the ANTM. Anyways, before you posted this… did you care enough to watch the show and judge it for real and not just repeting what everyone's saying??? That's being a journalist Piggy… do some research and write comments and opinions about it…

I havent watched it for the past 3 cycles…its a lost cause. Do any of these girls actually go on to be "top" models maybe they do catwalks and small ads but no major endorsements besides being a "covergirl" for like 3 months after they win. Modeling is a dead industry since celebrities are the only ones bracing the covers of magazines, and most clothing lines and beauty products are endorsed by celebs. What's left for the model to do except appear on Project Runway and ANTM?

I used to love Next Top Model but ever since the "Tyra Cam" I lost interest — she's much more focused on her talk show these days and that space theme last night with Mr. Jay and Jay Alexander sporting stringy bleach blond hair didn't help. Myrtle Beach, SC where that one girl is from is trying to draw gay visitors — I don't think her saying they will get shot is going to help.

I enjoy the show! And to be honest, it takes more than just winning a reality show to become a "top" model. How many of the winners of American Idol have actually made it big? Maybe one? Two. The reason why we don't see them making it big is because everyday people don't go to fashion shows, purchase modeling magazines. I believe Jaslene actually has a contract with a clothing company. Adrianne also had a spread in Playboy, and okay there are times that she annoys me, but she still manages to get on tv. People know her name.

the season premiere sucked ass. they were trying to be futuristic and it looked so stupid. the girls this season are so boring. and i barely see any of the top models ANYWHERE. all i see are the losers who didnt make in all the adds..looks like they're the top modles, not the ones who actually win the show…
The only person making it big, is Tyra! The people who have "won" ATM, have gone on to do nothing. They would have done better sleeping their way to the top. Plus many of girls have the look and talent of a nat.
