The factually inaccurate and exaggerated speech bashing Barack from the lipstick wearing pit bull delivered at the RNC convention on Wednesday inspired 130,000 donors to give money to the Obama campaign.
To the tune of $8 million in 24 hours!!!!!

Who would've guessed that Sarah Palin would be such a great Obama fundraiser????
An Obama campaign rep said they were on track to make $10 million by the time John McCain took the stage Thursday night.
Wonder how the fundraising is going for the GOP these days?!

AP needs to check their facts. Their "FACTS" are filled with misrepresentations and half truths, just like Sarah btw, but this was a convention speech. The American people knows that there will be a bit of hyperboles.
Regarding the Obama record. Good for them. Sarah sure did scare the Obama supports. Go ahead and waste your money on a losing candidate, who's party was destined to win the white house this year.
And, unlike Obama, McCain stood up to his words and took public financing, therefore people cannot donate to him directly again.
This goes to know Obama's character -
Both candidates pleged to take public finiancing to have a fair and balanced election, but when Obama recognised he could outraise public financing, he jumped out of it!
America needs a man who keeps his words in the White House!

WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! Give to the people who need this money, not to a man that may or may not be President and that the only reason people are giving him $$$ is to get something in return that I guarentee they will never get!!! I have a friend who was in local politics here, he was promised by Bush 1st term he would be an Ambassador to an important latin america country, well this guy gave Bush tons of money, went out of his way to support him blah blah, when Bush won, this guy ended up not getting that job, cause most likely he promised it to 100 other people, this guy was out alot of money and nothing in return. So why would anyone give $$$ which is hard to come by now a days to any politician? I just think that is stupid! You can support with volunteering which I have in the past for both parties locally and nationally, but, my $$$ no cause they will get to the hill and forget about me and everyone around me!!!!
McCain has got to be one of the worst orators in modern memory. His voice is weak (read: sick), he ends each phrase with a rising inflection (read: feminine), and he seems to lose the point of the sentence by the time he reaches the end (read: old). It was truly a godawful speech, and very odd for someone who’s trying to make his case for being tough. McCain looked his age tonight, and seemed to be up way past his bedtime

Matt, I am guessing you are too young to remember the Carter years or to realize that Clinton had a strong economy boost off of Reagan's good job. But, really the President's party affiliation doesn't matter as much when you look at McCain. If you really take the time to research him, you will see that is a FAR LEFT republican. That is why he couldn't get the nomination against Bush. Too many very conservative republicans kept him out. But this is a GREAT man. A man who has experience, knowledge and a hell of a lot of guts. Look at his record and look at his plans. His ideas and plans will better help the middle class and provide stability for the economy. I actually think Barack if very charismatic, but his inexperience and lack of leadership really scares me.

Fact is come November 4th the President of the US will be Mccain. Reasonings behind what I am saying, is she Obama has the $$, he has the great writters, the star quality, the strong famous supporters, the youths support, minority support!! etc. But I have voted in almost every election and I am 36, everytime I vote I see whites and old people voting, no minorities, I am a minority so this not a racist comment, I see old men and old women anglo who do not like change who are still not ready for females or blacks, hispanics or asians to run this country. Everyone can get on here and cheer for Obama but, lets see how many will get out and vote, I sure most people that are talking their crap do not even have a registration card or know where to vote. If you feel so strongly about Obama or Mccain register to vote, take some time on Nov 3rd to actually stand in a long line and vote and then you can let your actions speak, but, for now if this is not done we can be assured Mccain will win due to the old people who actually vote!!!!
