Sarah Palin Fundraised $8 Million for Barack!

The factually inaccurate and exaggerated speech bashing Barack from the lipstick wearing pit bull delivered at the RNC convention on Wednesday inspired 130,000 donors to give money to the Obama campaign.
To the tune of $8 million in 24 hours!!!!!
Wowsers!
Who would've guessed that Sarah Palin would be such a great Obama fundraiser????
An Obama campaign rep said they were on track to make $10 million by the time John McCain took the stage Thursday night.
Wonder how the fundraising is going for the GOP these days?!

Then he needs suck her ASS!
$21
Haha, awesome.
wow!!! Go Palin!!!!
Obama/Biden 08!!
THANK GOD!
If McCrackhead and Poontang are elected as pres and vp our country is so much more fucked that it already is…
OBAMA 08!!!!
And it's Donut Day!
All the money in the world isn't going to turn this fucking monkey into our next president.
Nice…I love it…
Good to see that a % of Americans aren't dumb enough to be fooled by the GOP shit talk this time around.
Yelling lies and slandering opponents into a microphone to a crowd of zombie republicans is one thing, but actually talking about real issues and a plan of accomplishing change is something the GOP can't do.
Talk about a bunch of scared democrats……that is so funny!! With a $200,000,000 difference between the two party's fundraising moolah, you would think Obama wouldn't be losing points in the race…..oh well, now we know that you can't put a price on (or purchase) good politics and an excellent political record! This tell me, the democrats know the old saying, "desperate times call for desperate measures!" Too bad, it isn't working…ROTFL!!
the far right activists — including gay rights activists — seem worried. why don't you admit McCain is more qualified.
I LOVE Sarah Palin she and McCain ROCKED the house. Down you go Obama!!!
McCain/Palin '08
AP needs to check their facts. Their "FACTS" are filled with misrepresentations and half truths, just like Sarah btw, but this was a convention speech. The American people knows that there will be a bit of hyperboles.
Regarding the Obama record. Good for them. Sarah sure did scare the Obama supports. Go ahead and waste your money on a losing candidate, who's party was destined to win the white house this year.
And, unlike Obama, McCain stood up to his words and took public financing, therefore people cannot donate to him directly again.
This goes to know Obama's character -
Both candidates pleged to take public finiancing to have a fair and balanced election, but when Obama recognised he could outraise public financing, he jumped out of it!
America needs a man who keeps his words in the White House!
Ugh. I am getting tired of your posts about Palin. I know there is the scroll option… but if you are going to cover politics, cover them some and cover celebrity gossip more. I am looking for other celebrity bloggers to get my gossip from. Your site is starting to suck big time.
Re: Andy27 – dude..u look like a monkey, so what the fuck are you talking about? look at your ears? shut the fuck up racist smut
Re: Seriously – McCain says "fight with me" but he fails to realize that "work with me" is a whole lot better. Strong ending. Big ideas. Obama gave far more specifics. All the racist remarks is not going to save you stupid republicans
Tina Fey would make a great Sarah Palin on SNL!
I realize you're a democrat and support Barack, but you should really check your own facts before regurgitating other left leaning sites. Her speech wasn't incorrect or lies, and if you do the research you will see that. As for fund raising, the GOP pulled in the mother load as well.
Man, you americans have a hard choice for president
someon who is young, 46, has alot of wisdom and great future prospects for america, but lacks experience and could turn out worst than americans. But has a vice president that could help him with his decisions as he has experience..
then you got someone who is old, and could die while in office, but has great expeirence and has helped the nation, someone who you could trust… but the last president was someone you could trust LOOK WHAT HAPPENED IN THE 8 YEARS OF HIS OFFICE!
Then you got his VP who has governor experience that is better experience than a senator! but she preaches things that her own children didn't listen to!!
things such as anti-gay, which is sad, cause homos say they can't help it!
2008 YOU DECIDE!
Re: Andy27 – Wow, I didn't realize there still young racist people out there. Let me guess, your parents are cousins?
I wonder if Ron Paul's new PAC saw any significant donations during the RNC convention.
SHE'S QUITE THE LITTLE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING, ISN'T SHE??!! LMAO!
Sarah Palin in amazing! These people giving money just proves how much of a threat they think she is. McCain / Palin '08!
WHAT A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!! Give to the people who need this money, not to a man that may or may not be President and that the only reason people are giving him $$$ is to get something in return that I guarentee they will never get!!! I have a friend who was in local politics here, he was promised by Bush 1st term he would be an Ambassador to an important latin america country, well this guy gave Bush tons of money, went out of his way to support him blah blah, when Bush won, this guy ended up not getting that job, cause most likely he promised it to 100 other people, this guy was out alot of money and nothing in return. So why would anyone give $$$ which is hard to come by now a days to any politician? I just think that is stupid! You can support with volunteering which I have in the past for both parties locally and nationally, but, my $$$ no cause they will get to the hill and forget about me and everyone around me!!!!
McCain has got to be one of the worst orators in modern memory. His voice is weak (read: sick), he ends each phrase with a rising inflection (read: feminine), and he seems to lose the point of the sentence by the time he reaches the end (read: old). It was truly a godawful speech, and very odd for someone who’s trying to make his case for being tough. McCain looked his age tonight, and seemed to be up way past his bedtime
Re: Andy27 – be careful there, he does look like curious george but you know black people had a bad history of being compared to monkeys.. So older black people will cry racism..
"Factually Inaccurate" is really BLATANT LYING. Sarah Palin stood before the nation and LIED over and over.
-
-
What I don't get — didn't she know she'd get called on it? Does she really have so little esteem for the public that she thinks she can LIE and no one will notice?
-
-
I suspect republican candidates hold the American population in very low regard.
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – Go take all your money out of the bank and buy a clue!
ANDY 27 IS RIGHT.
America got to see the difference between the candidates.
No amount of money is going to elect Obama.
He's a charlatan, and the purveyor of false hope.
He promotes class warfare, and income redistribution.
McCain / Palin are the REAL DEAL.
LEADERS
No amount of smear and lies will work.
I wonder how much Republican monies were raised, since Palin has been on the ticket? Me thinks more than 10 million.
btw..Perez: Avoid politics. Stick to what you do best.
btw2… Can't WAIT for: An American Carol to come out.
LOLZ
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Awesome!
Re: Andy27 – Andy - you called Obama a "Fucking Monkey" — wow . . . you are a RACIST.
-
-
No reason to ever read one of your posts again.
"Experience" isn't worth much if it's shitty experience.
Re: mattsparks –
Matt, I am guessing you are too young to remember the Carter years or to realize that Clinton had a strong economy boost off of Reagan's good job. But, really the President's party affiliation doesn't matter as much when you look at McCain. If you really take the time to research him, you will see that is a FAR LEFT republican. That is why he couldn't get the nomination against Bush. Too many very conservative republicans kept him out. But this is a GREAT man. A man who has experience, knowledge and a hell of a lot of guts. Look at his record and look at his plans. His ideas and plans will better help the middle class and provide stability for the economy. I actually think Barack if very charismatic, but his inexperience and lack of leadership really scares me.
I'm getting bored with your McCain/Palin bashing! It's tired and old! If your going to put anything political on your site why don't you cover the good and the bad of BOTH parties! Then I could use the scroll to only scroll down when I see Obama or Biden's UGLY LYING FACES!!!!!
That's one more thing you can thank the GOP for!! This way Obama can just concentrate on organizing the democratic community, and we will pay for it…,oh wait, what has changed?
According to Tim Shipman for McCain— $Ten Million in two days, total $47 million for the month–not bad for a lipstick wearing hockey mom lol
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls –
What have you done for your country lately? Maybe you should stay up past your bedtime, which I am guessing is 8, and devise a plan to be productive as opposed to criticizing life long civil servants for the tone of their voice and the years of their experience.
i donated, did you?
oh sarah, my little lipstick-wearing pitbull…keep it up! it's good for those of us who have brains
McCain asked for a lower smaller platform. That"s understandable. He is a lower and smaller man. Also, he wouldn"t want to be compared to Obama.
McCain is an 0ld and tired man, wanting to be President at age 72, not because he believes he can do any good for the country, but because he must achieve this before he d.i.e.s.
McCain is a cynical man. His VP choice is for pandering to the religious Right that he abhors, but whose votes he must have.
McCain instills fear to get our vote. Fear of terrorists, fear of Iran fear of Afghanistan, fear of Russia, fear, fear, fear.
He offers more war, more death and destruction and more misery, not change and peace and prosperity.
McCain was an almost failure at school, and a failure at his job: a POW, not a war hero.
Accordingly, his standards are low and his expectations are low
Democrats, hold your head high.
You have nominated a candidate who is a not just a leader, he is a kind of a leader that comes along every few generations.
You are making history.
You are about to change not just America, you are about to change the world for the better.
Barack Obama is young, smart, energetic, full of ideas and enthusiasm. He is for hope, not fear, for peace, not war, for moving us forward, not taking us back to Cold War.
America needs Obama.
Obama/Biden"08
Thanks Sarah! Obama/Biden supporters really appreciate your help!
you are such a fickle little fuck perez! You where all about her when her name first appeared as McCain's vp.
Fact is come November 4th the President of the US will be Mccain. Reasonings behind what I am saying, is she Obama has the $$, he has the great writters, the star quality, the strong famous supporters, the youths support, minority support!! etc. But I have voted in almost every election and I am 36, everytime I vote I see whites and old people voting, no minorities, I am a minority so this not a racist comment, I see old men and old women anglo who do not like change who are still not ready for females or blacks, hispanics or asians to run this country. Everyone can get on here and cheer for Obama but, lets see how many will get out and vote, I sure most people that are talking their crap do not even have a registration card or know where to vote. If you feel so strongly about Obama or Mccain register to vote, take some time on Nov 3rd to actually stand in a long line and vote and then you can let your actions speak, but, for now if this is not done we can be assured Mccain will win due to the old people who actually vote!!!!
As a matter of fact, Republicans fundraising went skyhigh thanks to her. That means our dear Palin is the real star of this campaign…….Yes, we all should thank her, because her presence, is a cruel reminder that Obama rejected Clinton as his running mate, choosing instead an old, insipid white man. Obama wanted to play save, McCain did the opposite. …I'm a democrat that will be voting McCain-Palin this year….!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: CreativeOne – yawnnnn, you actually don't know what I have did for my country. I could see if you knew me to question what have I done for this country, but you don't know, and I can sense the fear..it is like a pitbull backed into a corner! YOUR WELCOME, not go to sleep bitch

Re: Andy27 –
AMEN. YOU ARE CORRECT MY FRIEND. AND MICHELLE REALLY LOOKS LIKE AN ANGRY ORANGUTAN!
thanks to palin obama's supporters feel threaten!!
MCCAIN/PALIN 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just don’t believe he’s going to make the radical changes needed to pull us from the brinks we’re on.
Look at those hurricanes plowing through the Gulf of Mexico. That’s global warming. Is he going to change that? Look at our massive debt. We’re so in hock to China, and others, we can’t sneeze without asking them to borrow a tissue. If you think oil dependence is a problem, just wait for the consequences of financial dependence to become plainer than it is.
It’s insane to cut taxes AND wage a war. Never once has it been done in our history before Dubya. McCain wants to continue this suicidal fiscal policy.
McCain’s experience has taught him to see potential enemies in the world. Is he capable of seeing potential friends?
And I don’t want that Palin pit bull he’s mushed down from Alaska nipping at the heels of perfectly good Americans for four or eight years.
In short, I want to believe McCaiin, but I don’t. I like him. I like his Mom. But let’s not forget McCain came in close to the bottom of his class. We’ve tried that level of qualification for the past eight years. It didn’t work.
McCain is also obligated to some very cagey, non-straight-talking friends (the Rovpublicans, for one group) who’re not exactly focused on the country’s best interests, just their own power.
Obama/Biden is the ticket for me.
@LULU.. yet you seem unable to list these ”alleged' lies.
Just because dailyKos said she lied doesn't make it so.
Quit being a parrot & a tool.
Think for yourself!
Sarah (and her speech) really scared you guys!
The woman 'stood & delivered', despite a week of blatant underhanded non-stop attacks on her & her family.
America doesn't like that crap, and you are seeing the backlash already.
Time to face reality, and understand Barak (the messiah) Obama will not be President.
But I'm sure he will write more memoirs.
Joe will go on to become a spokesperson for: Hair Club for Men
So it will all work out.
The economy must be in much better shape then the democrats would lead you to believe.
It still won't help him get into the White House.
MCCAIN/PALIN '08
Laughing myself to sleep, I noticed that there were more blue balloons than red, perhaps they should have an investigation.
This makes me giggle. The Barry Fans are scared they are going to lose!
This is on thing BO fans right about! Your are!! Obama will outspend McCain - no doubt. McCain's will win with the right message.
McCain! Palin! Rock on to the White House!
Let's not forget, Obama's little trip to Switzerland to raise money…not for the hurricane victims….who the RNC had placed before their own convention, but HIMSELF….may I point out …..with Hollywood people and foreigners throwing a party, overseas for money for Obama…..WEIRD!! This is the speed of his campaign….rubbing elbows with "fans", rolling in the dough..from publicized, highly questionable contributors. .So many shady contributors that Obama is actualy returning money, so as to keep his affiliation on the down low? SCAREY All this while the democrats are complaining about what McCain's wife and Laura Bush are wearing? Let's talk about fundraising for one's race, on foreign soil……what a great American, he has to go overseas for more money?
Wow! Dems but be shitting in their pants in fear! LMAO!
Re: buck – John Mccain
after 30 years he tell us we need to change everything ….
Oh and I just found how to use computer.
Did I told you I was POW.
And I am the one who is going make changes in this new world.
Um … I forgot who was the president for last 8 years but I supported him in both the election.
Remember Katrina I shared the cake with Bush and opposed funds for New Orleans.
Remember I opposed subsidies for alternative energy.
That how I was fighting for you for last 8 years and now I “promise” you that this time I will “actually” fight for you.
Conservative told Bush is going to change govt and fix the issue.
Now after 8 years conservative are telling everyone that Mccain is the “one” who is going to fix the issue. who “conservative” said is less qualified than Bush…. (2000 primary)
“Conservatives” who you are trying to fool……
Re: lilcountrycgngv – It's not about being threatened… it's not about getting liberals and democrats upset. Have you ever been mad or frustrated when someone is saying something that isn't right or isn't true and there is a mad crowd of followers and people who will only listen to one side of the story??
John McCain, the maverick smurf,
Gave his best speech for all that that's worth
While Republicans roared
The rest of us snored
As the Republicans fell back to earth.
I also think its funny to hear Obama keep trying to remind us he is "running against McCain" not Palin. Palin is going to make an awesome President after McCain.
Re: LULU~* – She didn't get called on lies because she did not lie….you idiot! Reading propaganda pages and listening to jealous liars is not healthy…reasearch her speech and her history…research…..don't just reverberate bullshit floating around….research the facts….look it up and shut up! DONE
McCain made over $47 million in August. Obama made $50 million in July. Not too far off.
Also, when Palin was announced as McCain's running mate, McCain received over $10 million dollars. He also walked away from the convention with over $200 million between his campaign and the GOP funds to elect McCain.
So yeah, in other words, the GOP and McCain are doing just fine in terms of fundraising.
Its probably more like $10 million now. I gave after feeling dirty and ashamed that Palin is a woman (so they say).
OBAMA/BIDEN '08!
That's cause they are fucking scared and donors are giving money! It was just stated the other day Obama has gone through a majority of his money and MCCAIN has more money than their campaign. Campaign finance anyone?
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls –
This country needs Obama? You are totally delusional. What has Obama done to serve the honor? NOTHING….. We are not even sure who he really is. And his previous associations with Rev Wright and that local terrorist, paint a portrait of a man who hates whites and America. No. USA do not need Obama. Obama needs USA.-
I really thought it was awful that - clearly - Bristol Palin was told to hold the baby — to cover her 5 month belly - she literally has the little kid drapped over herself — on purpose.
-
-
Truly sad that the republican handlers - without a doubt - made her do that so "The Belly" wouldn't show. I feel sorry for her.
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls –
Your inability to answer what you've "did" for your country is all the answer I need. Go volunteer for something, donate time and money to charities you believe in and then learn that criticism of others and name calling or insulting someone because of their age speaks volumes about your character. Seriously, everyone is young and idealist at one point in their life, those with real stamina can contribute their entire life and not just give popular speeches about unrealistic ideas.
Re: Seriously – Oh, for the love of God — OF COURSE SHE LIED.
-
-
Are you not familiar with newpapers and news broadcasts? Maybe check them out once in a while for info? C'mon, you can break the "republican-hide-your-head-in-the-sand" mold. Try it — information is a good thing. Honest.
Okay for the guy who called Barack a monkey–GET A LIFE! I am in no way a Barack supporter but I would never not elect someone just because of there skin color. That is so a moral low for you pal. We need to elect someone who is going to get stuff done and I am definitly a PALIN supporter she has done awesome things as governor and Barack has got one law passed the whole time he was in the Senate–besides ya know the whole thing with the abortions–for those of you uneducated about it he wanted to pass a law saying that if a girl were to get an abortion and the baby still made it through they could legally not give that baby any medical treatment and basically let it starve to death! I am not saying Barack is a horrible person I think both candidates have great qualities and will bring equal change in differant ways…On another note I am so sick of hearing about this election and Mccain needs to stop making attack aids I wanna see his qualities not what he hates about arack that tells me nothing!
Your so One sided, why don't you look it up and see how the GOP is doing…Great!!! Looking forward to winning the Election…its nice to see that Obama spends his campaign money on Elaborate Firework Displays and paying high price celebrities to perform..you don't think they're actually performing for free do you?? Hahaha Why don't you round up the numbers since you're so good at it apparently.
Where are you sources from that say Palin said "inaccurate and unfactual" things in her speech? She hit things right on, and yes those dummocrats are scared silly to waste their money on Oprabama.
where was McCain’s Flag Pin?
You're such a weiner, Perez. Why not mention that in the past 48 hrs since Palin's speech, the McCain-Palin ticket raised over $11.5 million dollars!!!
.
Your bias is showing Perez. Zip it up!
The same big money contributors who backed DUBYA are backing McCain.
-
-
that said — do you really think McCain gives a rat's ass about you, the small time republican voter????? No. He will be doing favors for those who put up the money for the campaign.
-
-
The same folks who supported Bush.
-
-
One more question I have - why the heck is McCain SCREAMING "change" — and why do you republicans want that? You don't believe in YOUR last CHOICE — Dubya??
-
-Did you republicans make a mistake when YOU VOTED BUSH IN - and now you want McCain for "change" — what gives? Were you wrong then — or are you wrong now?
Re: Andy27 – You are such a racist ASS. No wonder you're so pro-McCain. He's as white as they get.
I'm just gonna stay off this site till the election is over - You give more 'factually innacurate' statements than anyone. As a still undecided voter I am sick of reading your one-sided garbage. Give your opinion fine Pez head, but if you want to act like your covering the news then cover it all. This is a gossip website not one where you should be pedaling out political posts, and misinforming people to sway them to your side. You have been fucking SLOW on the posts lately anyway - "TMZ", and even "Yahoo OMG" have been quicker than you this summer. Cya
lmao! sarah plin is SO GOOD that the dems are afraid of her and are frantically donating! lmaooooooo
Re: CreativeOne – "There is nothing to fear but fear itself"
Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Vote Obama/Biden on November 4th.
Re: Ms. Sugar Walls – lol wtf. obama DOES look like a monkey…
Re: iheartfebreeze – "There is nothing to fear but fear itself"
Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Vote Obama/Biden on November 4th.
Re: iheartfebreeze – why don't u febreeze yourself down, because you stink
Re: omg umm – Did you not read the news at ALL yesterday? Perez even posted them on his site!
So McMaverick, if we all become mavericks, how will anything get done?
It really appalls me that after McCain's speech last night, anyone could even consider voting for a politi-celebrity with NO experience who voted "present" in the Illinois state senate over 100 times, rather than a TRUE AMERICAN WAR HERO WHO FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY!
He's a joke, and anyone voting for him doesn't care about this country.
Palin is awesome. More people watched her speech than Obama's last week. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA run donkeys run
HEY SUGAR WALLS….. you'd better get back to work. Are you on your lunch break?
Just to say i was wondering why no one is mentioning obama on Bill o'rielly. Although it was a good interview, he still wouldnt admit he was wrong voting against the surge in iraq. Mon, tues, wed of next week will be the rest of the interview I recomend everyone to watch it!
yeeeeeeeeah the republicans made off with 200m. 9m is probably their average, ha!
oh yeah and perez the repubs only raised a million dollars
SUGAR WALLS…. what do you do with your paycheck???
First the RNC is leaving the convention with $200 million dollars for the last two months of the campaign. McCain now has the $84 million of federal funds and cannont use private donations any more except for certain legal expenses. Second the RNC has approxamately $127 million on hand. This positions the RNC and the McCain campaign well for the last two months. Conversely, Obama needed to raise the money he got for a couple of reasons - 1. He is overspending and his war chest is diminishing and 2. DNC donors have not given their full amounts because there is still some reluctance from DNC quarters that he will be able to finish the job. Obama's key weakness that while he has energized the youth and the liberal left - he is still not connecting with middle america. A Rassmussen poll released today showed that Sarah Palin is scoring higher than both Obama and McCain in terms of popularity. This is given the fact that as of last week 69% of those polled didn't know who she was. Additionally, if the Rasmussen Poll and the NY Times/CBS poll can be reviewed together - the data suggests that McCain/Palin could be poised to upset Obama/Biden. In closing think about this - if Obama is so popular why is it that in the places where he leads McCain in the polls is the point differential within the margin of error? I mean the guy supposedly is the shoe in for President but he can't close the deal? Shouldn't his margins be within the double digits at this point?
Re: James – no quite! she has 37.2 viewers and Obama had 38 strong! OBAMA/BIDEN 2008
I SEND HIM 5 DOLLARS EVERYTIME HE'S CALLED "BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA"
.
.
(but I sent him and extra 25, because of how badly they mistated his record in the Senate).
SUGAR WALLS— do you use your food stamp money to buy lottery tickets???
And she only had 37.2 viewers, because they kept the RNC the exclusive time she speaks to the American public. They market her like Angelina's babies. Disgusting.
I watched Obama on Bill O'Reilly last night during the RNC…He's not a bad guy, but he really has no true PLAN. He is inexperienced as a leader. It's great to inspire people, but then maybe he should be a teacher. I mean that in a good way. Just because you inspire people, that doesn't mean you are able to truly LEAD them. Obama was catapulted into the race from outside funding from Hollywood supporters and the media. I just don't buy what they are selling. You really need to look at it as a job application. McCain has fought and overcome so many obstacles and tragedies and is game for even more. He has a young, vivacious and motivated woman to aid him in leading this country to peace and prosperity. At the end of the day, we can find solace in him as our leader, because of what he stands for. People will always differ on abortion and gay marriage for years to come. Right now our safety as a nation takes precedence and McCain is experienced and humble. There is nothing boastful about putting himself forward as the true leader because that's exactly who he is.
I am not suprised! The American people want real change not some fluff promise from McCain and certainly not from some lipstick pitbull that is McCain's puppet to get him women votes. People are pissed!!!!
Must have been a certain talk show host sweating her mans position, ha ha.
Re: JembaBemba – i don't use foodstamps and if you were smart, and actually researched your infomation correctly..YOU would of came up with a A+ answer..U can't buy lottery tickets with food stamps! DUMB ASS! so, another dumb twat making stupid statements. SMH
I read ur site everyday. My favorite cousin is gay. But the fact that ur all for Obama just because ur a fag is rediculus. I hope when McCain wins he undoes the legalization of gay marriage just to piss all of you Obama lovers off.
I've always heard that people who brag about how much money they make really don't have that much money. I would imagine this same saying would ring true in politics. There are people I know that never talk about money, but it's a well known fact that they're loaded like you wouldn't believe. I live in an area where mineral rights are like owning gold…regular people have a natural gas well drilled on their property and next thing you know, they're getting a six figure check in the mail once a month. BUT - they have yet to brag or boast about it. I only know cause I work in the business.
