It seems like every hour something new comes out about Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
According to ABC News, Alaska Senator Hollis French is announcing that he is moving up the release date of his investigation on Palin.
The charges are that she has abused her powers and her office to get Walt Monegan, the Alaska public safety commissioner, fired.
Hollis has also accused the McCain campaign of using stall tactics in order to prevent him from releasing his final report by October 31st, just four days before the November election.
Originally, the results were scheduled to be released on October 31st, however, sources are now claiming that news will come out almost THREE weeks earlier.
Democratic Senator French says, "It's likely to be damaging to the Governor's administration."
Palin claims she's done nothing wrong and has hired private attorneys to represent her.

Also, while Ms. Palin has emerged suddently on the national scene, she did not appear from nowhere. Rush Limbaugh has evidently been pushing for her candidacy all summer long. I guess we can tell who now has the most influence in the Republican party.
John McCain is the Republican presidential candidate, but he is 72 and has a history of serious medical problems. We need to look more closely at Governor Palin, and we don’t have a lot of time to do it.

When I was a kid, Disneyland had a theater where a robot made to look like Abraham Lincoln walked on stage and gave a 10 minute speech. He looked incredibly realistic and the performance was entirely convincing. After the speech, there would be thunderous applause from the audience. The robot would then walk off the stage.
McCain’s strategy with Palin is to treat her just like that Disneyland robot. It tells me that, beyond being able to read from a teleprompter, she does not have the skills necessary for a national campaign. That this strategy seems to be working so far also tells me something sad about the press - which should have found a way to demand access - and the public at large.

Do any of you know about Wooten, the person at the root of the whole problem. This a man going around abusing his authority and he was investigated 13 of the submitted issues and found four in which Wooten violated policy or broke the law or both…He told others his father-in-law would 'eat a fuckinging lead bullet' if he helped his daughter get an attorney for the divorce. That is the one that directly involves Palin's father, and the reason why the Hollis asshole started the witchhunt. That is only the tip of the iceberg! Palin has climbed the political ladder with only a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism (earned after attending 5 different colleges over the course of 6 years). With each opportunity to serve, whether as mayor or governor, she has bullied, intimidated and abused her power. Like many politicians in Alaska who have been direct recipients of her tactics, I fear that John McCain will suffer the same fate eventually. Please vote Obama/Biden to ensure this does not happen.

Palin’s speech was entertaining and her personality endearing in a mrs. smith goes to washington “aw shucks” kind of way. About policy there was zero…she’s good at reading cue cards, but do we really need another “born again” looking up to the sky thinking the Iraq War is god will,
or unemployment is god’s will, or losing your home is god’s will.
We need leaders that depend on facts not faith. We don’t need creationists that think the planet is 5000 years old and deny science. There is another party that clings to guns and religion and that’s the taiban. Except they don’t allow lipstick.
