It's Not Happening

We got our hopes up, only to have them CRUSHED.
But, this is probably for the best.
PerezHilton.com just spoke to Britney Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph, and he tells us exclusively that the former and (hopeful) once-again Princess of Pop is NOT performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.
She is 100% not performing, Larry assured us, but she will be attending and opening the show.
Rudolph has repeatedly stated recently that Spears was NOT performing, a statement echoed closely by the reps at MTV.
So, what to make of that footage that leaked on Friday that showed Britney rehearsing to a new song of her with some dancers???
"She was not rehearsing for the VMAs," Rudolph tells us. "It was just her going into the studio with some dancer friends and having fun. It's a regular occurrence now. I see that every day."
But we don't! And we got VERY excited.
Well, we think it's wise that Spears wait until she's 110% ready to perform and make a killer comeback.
But, Larry tells us, that day is not too far away!

Awww man, this sucks, I was looking forward to seeing her perform at the VMAs but yeah, it's probably for the best that she doesn't. She's probably still not 100% over her infamous debacle from last year. Keep rehearsing Britney, keep working on yourself and your well-being and THEN the real comeback can happen.

The Jonas Brothers will interpret Oops I Did it again and Katy Perry "Toxic". Other confirmed like Pink and Lil Wayne are also expected to appear, and Madonna will appear on a Giant screen saying the famous phrase "It's Britney, Bitch"
After that Britney Spears will appear on stage and receive a trophy and applause from the public.
