Behind The Music - LIVE???

VH1 is trying to jump on the New Kids On The Block comeback hype with their own special.
They're planning to air a 90 minute LIVE special called New Kids On The Block: A Behind The Music Special Event.
The special will air on Sunday, September 28th at 8pm ET and the cameras will be with the guys as they get ready to perform at the TD Banknorth Garden in their home town of Boston, Massachusetts.
This will be VH1's first Behind the Music Live event, so let's hope it goes well.
It's going to feature the groups' history along with old photos and documents. They're also going to include current clips and footage shot by the NKOTB members.
The live broadcast will feature the first three songs of their sold-out concert, which you'll be able to catch on VH1's website the next day.
So, basically, it's just a regular Behind The Music but with a couple of live songs. Now that doesn't sound quite as exciting!
Behind the Music will show how the boys from Boston started off, with them later selling millions of albums, their split in 1994 and finally their reunion 14 years later.
We might record it and watch it if we're bored.

I was one of their biggest fans back in the day. But honestly, I haven't listened to one of their new songs……..not one.

They were at Newbury Comics in Quincy Market in Boston a few days ago, and there wasn't even a line to see them! Only a sign on the SECOND FLOOR. Trust me, nobody even in their hometown is interested.
This is one of the moments I believe that life is nothing but a big nightmare.
Nobody ever understood why I insisted on keeping all of my New Kids stuff…this is the exact reason. I waited in line for 17 hours to see them at MOA and cannot wait to see them again in October!

Then he says that only 2 of NKOTB sing and the rest just show up. He failed to mention that if it weren't for NKOTB, they wouldn't even have existed. Not cool.

I hope this will be on in the UK, too. I will watch, considering I was a huge New Kids fan in my teens, nostalgia seems to be back "in" and their latest shows have been successful, so why not? I actually think they all look better than they did in the 1990s anyway. Their dress sense back then was fucking awful, anyone here remember than nasty patterned tie and red jacket that Jordan wore every day on their big European tour in May 1991…?! Honestly, there was a lot of fashion faux pas from these guys back then and it looks like they've got better taste nowadays.

Hell Yeah! The NK still rock and they are hotter than ever! I can't wait to see them in concert. This is their first concert of the tour, I expect a few mishaps…but who the F@&% cares! They still got it, look good and I think they are friggin sweet!
