Making Xmas Whoopi with the Muppets

The year has flown by!
We can't believe Xmas programming news is already hitting the wires.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the kiddies can expect to see Letters to Santa-A Muppets Christmas on NBC during the holiday season.
Our fave View hostess, Whoopi Goldberg, will star in the special alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the Muppet crew!
The Xmas special is set on Christmas Eve when Kermit and company mistakenly avert three letters en route to Santa Claus.
Y'all know the Muppets will save the day and the story will end well!

I live and work in Brooklyn and watched them film part of this on Joralemon street today. They turned a community center into a post office. Very cute! I felt bad for the extras as they had to sit in the sun in winter clothes all day…ugh. I think I saw Mandy Patakin there too. I know he's done some work before with Sesame Street…maybe he's coasting over to the muppets now too.
Kermit?? We need the Grinch, kerosene and matches.
