WOW……… that was really really bad. i usually make fun of her; but i almost feel bad for her that was so horrible. i will say that when you can't hear yourself on stage , and you can't sing that well to begin with, then you might as well stop cuz you'll sound just like she did (unless you can sing)

In defense of Jessica (can't believe I am doing this…) it was a sound issue that was messing her up and school is back in session so you're not gonna see waves of kids in the crowd, so that makes for a smaller & older audience. I actually think she is better suited to country.

It looked like there were a few people in the crowd singing along, the crowd wasn't that small. Jessica simpson is just not that appealing anymore. Her outfit was atrocious, and she's gained weight. Her hair looked like a suburban house wifes hair. I wasn't impressed at all. I actually feel sorry for her.

Clearly you didn't watch the show! They were having MAJOR technical difficulties. While they were off air, Jessica was singing, and the microphone would just stop working!!! ANY OTHER ARTIST ON THERE WOULD BE LIPSYNCHING AND YOU WOULD STILL HERE THE RECORDING! Jessica sings live!!!!!! She did really good for all the trouble they were having! This performance really shows how proffesional she really is.

I don't see what the big deal is, she had a tech problem that threw her for a sec, she started over, lost the ear mic and sang really well. She was in key and didn't flub any words either despite the rough start. I was expecting to see something really bad but instead saw a professional performance. Also her dress was so cute!

She DID NOT have problems hearing herself. If she did, she would have asked the sound people to fix it, said it was okay or not okay, and then continued. Instead, she stopped (after flubbing lyrics obviously), then started RIGHT back up again… awkwardly.
