Even though 90210 (2.0) was the highest rated show for Women 18-34 on Tuesday, its ratings future is looking a little bleak because it lost A LOT of viewers in its second week out.
This week, the show slipped 30 percent from its premiere among Men and Women aged 18-34 and 35 percent among Men and Women 18-49.
What can the show do to attract new viewers?
Are U planning on sticking with the 90210 (2.0)???

I thought it sucked. Couldnt even make it through the first episode.
I keep missing it, there's nothing ever on that channel. Hopefully I can catch at least 1 episode before it's cancelled.

Where was Brenda last night? Not even a tiny part. I don't know. I'll stick around out of curiosity - but if one of my other shows is on at the same time…I will ditch 90210.
By the way…I think Steve Sanders is the baby daddy. She said 'history' in high school and the kid looks like him with all those blond curls. ??? It doesn't have to be Brandon or Dylan. And anywho - I cross Brandon off as the baby daddy last night because he is more responsible than Dylan or Steve,

No I thought it was terrible and the issues those kids had weren't real and the acting and casting was horrid. It sucks.

That's because nobody wants to watch a bunch of white kids and a black token run around whining, wearing clothes normal people can't afford and acting like completely jaded morons. We already have The Hills for that. Who the hell wants to watch the regurgitation of show that wasn't that great in the first place. Those old as white people playing teenagers…that shit was laughable.

I like the show…I think the actors will get better over time, but I really think the show needs more of the older 90210 actors. I love seeing Kelly and any of the other cast members to remind me of the first 90210.
THE CAST IS GROSS. ASIDE FROM JENNY GARTH and BRENDA WALSH. THESE NEW GUYS ALL HAVE GAY FACE AND THE GIRLS ARE WAY TOO SKINNY, HORRIBLE ACTRESSES AND ACTORS AND THE DAD (principal), LORI LOUGHLIN AND THE TOKEN and HIS SISTER ARE ALL WAY TOO CHEESY. THE DAD IS TOO INVOLVED IN THE KIDS LIVES.. ITS WEIRD. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO 90210 the Orig. CAST WRONG, too skinny, gay face and PLOT not good. GOSSIP GIRL AT LEAST HAS DECENT ACTORS AND ACTRESSES THAT LOOK BETTER AND THE PARENTS AREN'T TOO INVOLVED AND MIXED IN THEIR LIVES. PS- the only thing left we are waiting on is to hear who kelly's baby daddy is… reveal that and it's over.

This show is OVER and DONE.
It does not have and can not recreate the magic of the original "90210"- that show's success had a lot to do with the time it came out- 1990, it was very Generation X. This new show is NOT the same in any way and should not have the privilege to even compare. It's total bullshit, the characters and everything about them is not signature, it's like any other mediocre recent teen show except it basically steals the location and name of "Beverly Hills, 90210".
THIS SHOW SUCKS ASS!! I bet it won't go past season one.

Fringe is better and I don't have Tivo. Soooo unless Luke Perry comes back I don't think I'll be watching.
I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode and had to turn it off because the acting was ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!! And..the story line was so stupid. Who can actually relate to these people? Not a ton of people!!!!! The best part about the original 90210 is that the characters were relatable!
I grew up with 90210 & even graduated "with" them. But I've outgrown it and the plotlines are tired. They're even stealing from Saved by the Bell (rival team stunts anyone?).
I just don't know that teen dramas are relevant right now?

I agree with MCMD. "Silver" has a full-blown eating disorder - at so many points of the night, I wanted to puke when they showed her.
Besides that - the plots are so unrealistic. Kids in high school DO NOT go bowling with their parents on Friday nights. I am waiting on the baby daddy, but the only good thing of last night eposide was = Kelly's, coked-up, drunk mom. She rocked in the '90's. Keep her on.
Gossip Girl is getting my better vote for now though.

I loved it. The direction & the dialogue have the same feel as the original. I hope they hang on because there's nothing else to watch. I'm over 18 and don't want to watch fake spoiled children parade around with phony drama.

They are bringing up past characters so they have to back it up. They are talking about dylan so bring him back! They need the original cast…the new kids are boring and suck. 90210 should be the original cast and a new one with them!!!

They could hire people who can actually act. They could hire write writers who can actually write. I watched Fringe. Great show.
It is failing because it sucks. It's all hype. Those of us who watched the original don't care to see old Brenda and crew now. We are old and grown up and moved on. And the show sucks.

These kids can not act!!!!! There are so many talented actors of all ages.. Hollywood has to stop hiring people based on looks or nepotism. The fake crying is insulting! Especially when many an unemployed actor can bawl on cue!!! For the $$$$ these people make.. they better "Believe" so that the audience believes… These Hacktors are not even close to being connected to what they are doing! Yet we will see them at the Ivy any day now where the Paps will follow them along with reality tv clowns..people who offer NOTHING as they laugh all the way to the bank. Yea did you get the ONE black kid. No Latinos. All white KIDS , who by the way i am getting mixed up with WHO IS WHO. They all kinda look ALIKE. The girls with the black hair/bue eues. I cant tell who is who. Then the main girl resembles the other blonde girl who started out to be a bitch, who daddy is fucking around…So with all these pretty people who all look like dolls..had me lost.!!!!!!!!!!! and it's not that good where i wanna keep watching

The two actors playing the main kids are woefully miscast, (they're taking their character at bland face value) and unfortunately they are the center of the show.
The only interesting characters are the ones played by AnnaLynne McCord, and by the proven Lori, Jessica, Shannen and Jennie who are always reliably entertaining and believable in whatever show they're on.
It's probably because everyone was watching a much more creative show called "Fringe."
i saw the premiere and liked it.. but before the show was over last night, i was over it. so much going on.. and it seems like the writers are over thinking it.. because there's just too much drama.. everything that can go wrong does, and i don't think it helps with the plot line because it doesn't stick to anything long enough.. idk.. too much for me…
The second episode was DULL. Brenda wasn't even in it, even though she was in the coming attraction last week.
They need to cut 1/2 of the new cast (especially that awful character Adriana and Dixon, who's miscast) and beef up the roles for Shannen and Jenni Garth if this is going to last.

If they want to stick around they need to bring ALL of the original cast back AND stay true to their story lines. When I watched it last week and last night all of the scenes with the new characters just seemed like fillers to me. I was waiting to see why Jackie Taylor turned back to the bottle. I want to see the originals!!!!!!

Bring back Steve as the father of Kelly's baby. Bring back Dylan as the one Kelly is still in love with. Have Dylan and the teacher dude fight over Kelly. Stop floating past the major stories. The whole Kelly/Erin/Mom scene could have been better… I was SO looking forward to Kelly's mom going nutso. Bring back David's dad to stir some stuff up a bit with Kelly's mom. The Silver story could have dragged on for longer, instead of 'oh she can come and stay at our house, (cut to next scene and the dad is telling Kelly what happened). They need more focus on their stories instead of flipping between so many. Although, I thought the whole Naomi and Ethan story was very reminisce of the Dylan/Kelly story from long ago.

The whole scene with Naomi finding out her dad was cheating was very copied off the original 90210 - doesn't Donna have a similar experience?
Also..there should have been a lot more emotion in regards to finding out her mom is just going along with an affair
