A well-placed 90210 (2.0) insider has revealed exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Jennie Garth will be part of the show for a bit longer!
'Kelly Taylor' just signed on to do five more episodes of the spinoff.
This is in addition to the six she's already filmed.

Good news, right?
No news - yet - on whether Shannen Doherty will be extending her contract beyond her initial four episode agreement.

Jennie is the only reason I'm watching the show. I couldn't care less about Shannen. I hope Jennie decides to become a regular. And I really hope Tori joins the show. She should definitely be on it.
I can't figure out what work she has had done, but she looks different. Something about her face has changed and it isn't because of aging.

Great news!!! I am LOVING 90210 so far and seeing Jennie in it in such a meaty role is heaven! Makes me feel like I'm back in high school, but in a good way. This show rocks!

Bring back the old cast. No one gives a shit about these new kids. The producers really missed their mark on this one.

Shannon is barely in the show so far. She wasn't even in the 2nd episode. Jennie actually has a storyline, and a good one at that. She doesn't have to be in every episode, but she is a great connection between the original version and the new one. She is the reason I am watching the new version.

The show pretty much sucks a fat one, but Jennie and Shannen make it worth the time to watch. If it wasn't for them, it would not have even made it to TV.
It's scary to me to know she wasn't signed up as a regular in the first place. She really is well placed on the show. If they let her go away eventually it would be too weird. I think it's essential to keep the balance of the old cast and the new. Please keep her and Shannen as long as possible and try to get some more back. Show nat again if you can. I enjoyed the 2nd week of the show more. I am starting to get into the characters and loved the bowling.
Hmmm must be a nose job. Her nose looked a little pug-like back in the day…it looks too different now.

THRILLED! I am a class of '93er (just like West Bev. original class..LOL), I love Kelly's storyline in the new show. I love that her mom and sister are included…Personally…I'd love to see the show become more about the 30-somethings who graduated from West Bev (but I am bias…since it was the "show that shaped my generation" LOL).
The new "Brenda" is annoying as hell…but otherwise it is an interesting group - and not nearly as fake and sexed-up looking as I saw in the promos.
OH and I LOVE that Hannah Zuckerman-Vasquez is on the show…
Re: MyBlueNovember – I agree - I'm impressed how both Shannen and Jennie are right back to their characters…it has been 10 years, right? And the writers have been writing Kelly perfectly. I enjoyed getting more of her background while she was on the date with the teacher. That was fun, it made me nostalgic as she spoke about how she worked in fashion for a bit, then got her master's degree.
Reminds me of a lot of my now 33year old friends.
I think Brenda appears to be the semi-free spirit she was at the end of her run on 90210…I like that…anyone else wonder if the writers will turn her into a lesbian??? I like that idea!

I like Jennie. She's got a good storyline going (after 2 episodes) but the writers to work on the lines of her 'beau'. Can't wait to see if the kid belongs to Dillon or Brandon.

Bring the boys back, Brandon and Dylan are desperately needed to save this show. the young kids, especially "Naomi" suck so bad!
Dylan McKay was a pretty great character, let's admit it. He was interesting, intelligent, adventurous - and not dorky and boring like Brandon…I like that Brenda and Kelly do not have perfect lives.
She is aging beautifully - (Madonna - take a hint from Jenny . . .)
