The Jonas Bros: "Russell Brand Needs A Hug"
Yesterday, the Jonas Brothers publicly commented for the first time on Russell Brand making fun of their virginity during this past weekend's VMAs.
Basically, the Jonai are cool with it. Nick said, "For us it's cool to see that he recognises we are gentleman." He even said he thought Brand was hilarious when he appeared on Conan O'Brien.
And, now the Bros as still being asked about the incident, and until they grow tired of answering the same questions, they're gonna tell us a bit more.
When asked again about Brand's comments on Wednesday, Nick said, “I don’t know if there is really a positive (to come out of Russell’s comments) - he was kind of running out of material after a little while.”
Very true.
And when asked if they had a message to give Brand, big bro Joe said, “I’d give him a hug. I think he needs a hug!”
Hugs make the world a happier place!
The bros then went on to happier news about the weekend, such as meeting Britney Spears.
Joe said, “We met a lot of people there- we met Britney Spears and she was incredible!”
And Kevin added sincerely, “It was an honour to lose to her as well.”

Re: Uker – I followed this band BEFORE they were any where near Disney. They are not a manufactured band. Joe and Nick were performing on Broadway when they were 6 and 9. They had a career long before Disney came into the picture. They are truly talented - that's what impresses me about them. They are teen kids that have taught themselves to play guitar, piano, drums and more before they were even in middle school - they write most of their own songs and they had the #2 selling tour in 2008 (second only to Madonna). That stands for something. Why I'm bothering to enlighten you with this, I'm not sure. I'm just tired of people shitting on them just because they are backed by Disney. Disney is just a vehicle to a means. Kind of like Danity Kane and Making of the Band. Now there's a manufactured band. Jonas Brothers are just that. Brothers that love playing music together. And have received credit from thousands of fans - as well as Rolling Stone, Entertainment Weekly, and many others. Cool if you don't like them. However, why don't you spend your time on articles of people you DO like then….
