Once people look at what she believes in and what she's one as mayor and governor, they'll walk away, the same way you do from a traffic accident or a train wreck. McCain and Palin do nothing but tell lies and attack Obama. People all over the ountry are in trouble. We have financial institutions failing. Eleven banks so far, and at leat three major investment houses in terrible trouble. Fannie Mae and Freeddie Mac are private but had to be bailed out by the government. Some Finance expert on TV and said if they collapsed it would be a world wide financial collapse. People are losing their homes and can't afford to buy gasoline, food is more expensive, people are going to emergency rooms if they're sick. My Grandma said this is worse then the Depression. All this trouble was caused because special interests set things up so the rules would be in their favor so they can get richer and regular people are in trouble. Even smaller businesses. Sarah Palin is in insult. She is also a liar. Just like John McCain.

      To be honest Obama’s message of the possibility of a utopian society without intolerance is extremely attractive to most people. But the savage attack on Bristol Palin and some of the further examples of bile on this post. by so many, puts paid to the notion that as a society we are anywhere near being able to achieve this; by showing that intolerance is entrenched on all sides.

      The truth is that there are bigots on all sides; those who won’t vote for Obama simply because he is black and those who will vote for him simply because he is black and many other erroneous reasons.       We NEED to be in Iraq so we can tap into the various Al Queida camps hidden throughout the Middle East. We are also in Iraq because before we decided to enter this war thousands of Iraqi civilians were being killed off because Al Quida was in control and running the country of Iraq. Since the war our Military has been able to save thousands of Iraqi lives, push Al Queida out of the country of Iraq and build democracy in the country so Iraqi Civilians no longer have to fear their lives. We also took down Huessien!!!

      This is a war and soldiers are going to sacrifice their lives to protect our country. We are fighting a war in the middle east so we don't have to fight the same war on the street of America. Compared to other wars like Vietnam for example..there haven't been any where near as many casualties as in most wars we've fought. The United States has bases all over the world and Iraq is no different. Hopefully eventually the war can end when Al Queida is finally taken down, but if we let up..they'll see it as a sign of weakness and attack us even harder. The US Should perminently have a base in Iraq so we can continue to infiltrate Al Queida camps!

      We attacked them for Oil? News flash, the war in Iraq causes the Oil prices to INCREASE..we are not benefiting in Oil prices and Oil has nothing to do with it. If we were smart we would drill some of our own oil so we are less relient on foreign countries. Our oil money that we pay millions to other countries just helps fund terrorist organizations, they're the only ones benefitting in Oil Prices from this war..so take the head out of your ass Oil has Nothing to do with it, Protecting You, and Your family has Everything to do with it!

      Secondly you should have asked the thousands of Iraqi's being Mercesly killed off by Sadam Huessien and then tell me if "these people want no part of our freedom", they surely didnt want death. These people don't have any rights, not the right to use a computer like we are now, nothing! The war has already been successful, we defeated Sadam and we've built a democracy so the people of Iraq can enjoy the same freedoms we have.

      Believe me I am considered a very liberal republican and I do not agree with everything the government does. But, It's much easier to watch a dictator of another country kill thousands of their own people and pretend its just our government exploiting them to make their country look bad. The truth is this occures every day and once I finally realized that, I became a Republican.

      One day you might realize it as well. Other countries like, China, Russia, North Korea, Former Iraq…have no freedoms..if we were having this same conversation in former Iraq before the US stepped in, they would have Arrested Us and had us Hung in Public or Stoned since we're women and thats a fact. There is no blogging, no internet discussions, no opinions of your own. It is not all imaginary and I understand questioning your government, but lets not let it go to the point where you forget how great you have it compared to other countries!
