John McCain may be experiencing a sudden surge in popularity, but…..
According to a new poll, the entire world wants Barack Obama to win the U.S. presidency!
All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.
In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.
More than 22,000 people were questioned by pollster GlobeScan in countries ranging from Australia to India and across Africa, Europe and South America.
The margin in favour of Senator Obama ranged from 9 per cent in India to 82 per cent in Kenya, while an average of 49 per cent across the 22 countries preferred Senator Obama compared with 12 per cent preferring Senator McCain. Some four in 10 did not take a view.
The world may want it but….

Yeah the world may want Barack but it's the USA that votes. I would venture to guess that there are plenty of people out there that say they want Barack in the US but are not even registered to vote. If you are registered then you have to actually make it to cast that vote as well.
Honestly, this should say enough. If the WORLD can see that he is the smarter, better choice… that just goes to say that half of our own country.. all of those in favor of John McCain, are blind/deaf/close-minded to change.

Under G W Bush, The United States has lost the respect of the rest of the world. When I travel internationally, I try my hardest to avoid identifying myself as an American. People roll their eyes in disgust, & want to discuss foreign policies, that I completely disagree with. If pressed for an answer about my home, I say San Francisco, & then the reply is "great city".
If the rest of the world want us back on our feet again…..? Why don't the rest of you want your part of the world to be a better place again?

I don't mean that I agree other countries want the US to fail I believe the opposite is true I was wondering why some people on here were insinuating that that may be the case. I believe we are all dependent on eachother for some reason or another and I HIGHLY doubt that people in other countries would not put an honest answer in a poll. Same goes for all of the public polls that are being used in the presidential campaigns today.
