Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

I respectfully disagree. Senator Obama was never in a POWER position being a black man in this race. Hillary ran an arrogant campaign. She underestimated the power of the smaller states, only tackled the big states, and banked on the fact that she would be the OBVIOUS nomination. I respect Senator Clinton very much, and wish her all the best, but let's call a spade a spade.

Like most Christians, they feel the need to attach their lifelong political support to the Party that aligns with their religious beliefs, and that is where their requirements end. The Republicans know that they have a stronghold with the religious right, and that is why they have geared their campaign to include promises of overturning roe v. wade. That would make all abortions in the USA illegal. At the same time, they itch and moan when their taxes go up, but they might want to think long and hard about how they would be forced to pay for the lifelong care and education of thousands and thousands of unwanted and drug-addicted children if they overturn roe v. wade. Christians and political parties need to leave religion out of politics. Governments are supposed to support ALL the people as a whole, so the Republican Party should not be allowed to milk the christian membership. It is the primary reason that the Republican Party has the membership support that it does, even in the face of absolute arrogance and corruption of the present Republican Administration.
