    2. 102

Living in Canada, on that fateful day I will never forget when I heard the planes had slammed into both towers and that was just the beginning…sad sad day i watched the news every night through blurry wet eyes thinking of all those who died for no reason, all those heroic men and women of NY finest risking it all…God Bless everyone, I still remember like it happened yeterday, let us pray nothing like this EVER happens again on any SOIL.

    3. 103

I have my flag flying high today. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day 7 years ago. Today is cold and rainy(where I live anyway). I still remember that day like it was yesterday.

    4. 104

So many of the young never seen a world without war.

    5. 105

all the politics aside, may the victims rest in peace.

    6. 106

    10. 110

Re: MiamiDolphinLover – actually it appears that you are the one hating. I was just saying that maybe on a day where everyone needs to hear positive things, that perez should knock off the negativity. And that maybe he should have coverage of Mayor Bloomberg and the happenings in NYC today instead of celebrities talking about politics. Obama and McCain both are suspending negative ads for the day to remember 9/11….maybe everyone should take a page from them, and be positive as well. So, if that makes me a hater….that is what I am.

    11. 111

Re: calamari – real cute you douche.

      have some respect.

      god bless everyone.

    12. 112

I still can't listen to God Bless America or our National Anthem without tearing up. It makes you realize that no matter how much we rip on each other for which candidate we are voting for…at least we are all passionate about our country.

      I will never forget 9/11.

    13. 113

      Re: Sundae_Rose

THIS IS NOT THE FORUM FOR YOUR POLITICAL BULLSHIT!! RESPECT THE VICTIMS!

I can still vividly recall that morning. I was in my classroom, waiting for the children to arrive…when another teacher appeared in the doorway, and tearfully told me what happened. I recall just standing there, in shock, and unable to get my legs or voice to work.
I can't even imagine the fear, uncertainty and pain that the victims and their families have had to endure.
We must do everything, in our power, to ensure that it never happens again…not just here, in the US…but, WORLDWIDE.
I may not agree with some of you…but, I sincerely wish ALL of you Peace, Love and Respect.

    20. 120

U may be gone but will never be forgotten. God Bless those who have lost friend and love ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! God Bless America!!!

    21. 121

RIP to all that was lost..GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

      122

And, PLEASE…let's remember that the US was not the ONLY victim. There were many, many employees in the Towers, and airline passengers who were not US citizens (I am NOT counting the terrorists, though). There are other countries who lost fathers, mothers, sons and daughters…and, their families need to be remembered in your prayers, also.

    23. 123

This is the 7th anniversary of the day that I lost my cousin, John. He was in one of the towers. He saw the first one get hit and then evacuated many people, saving lives, but sadly he would not make it out on his own. He just about reached the bottom floor and the tower fell. He left behind a wife and 2 kids. He was 38 and because he was 6'7 I foolishly thought he would come out alive. To those who say that we shouldn't mark this day I feel sorry for you. Count yourselves lucky that you age every year. John will be forever 38.

    24. 124

get the fuck over it!! who cares! america asked for it…thinking they can do whatever the fuck they want and get away with it! they bomb the shit out of everyone else's shit but the only difference is THEY USE US FUCKING CANADIANS TO GO OUT ON THE LINES AND KILL AND BE KILLED! not kill yourself as a sacrifice to your cause which is what they did to america. I HATE YOU AMERICA I HOPE YOU ARE FOREVER IN FLAMES YOU FUCKED OUR INTIRE WORLD OVER AND I HOPE IT COMES BACK TO YOU SONS OF BITCHES

    25. 125

9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB!!!! vote independent!

    26. 126

Re: NYbiatch – i do think for myself neato thanks tho. i think for myself enough to know that my neighbor is not a secret spy and i think for myself enough to know that the tragedy of 9/11 was not brought on by our government lol!!!! don't forget crazy conspiracy theorists–PARANOIA WILL DESTROY YA

    27. 127

      Amylala

      Suck a dick.
      I was talking about 9/11.

    28. 128

Re: justtfax – I have to agree with you completely! I think we may have been in different cities, but…..One of the things I remember most that morning was thinking what a beautiful day it was! Crystal clear blue sky, and a bright clean blue at that. The temperature was just getting cool–the perfect temperature…..absolutely beautiful! Some of our Sales team was getting ready for a trip to Chicago when everything was cancelled. You could see the smoke over the trees from the Pentagon. The news (radio) continued to report that there were more planes. Then all phone communication was lost. You don't realize how scary it can be until you can't call family and friends to let them know you're OK…..while family and friends are terrified not knowing if you're alright (or even alive). Since we still had an internet connection for a few minutes longer…..I finally got word to my family by way of someone I worked with knowing an old friend who could call my family in another city. From beauty to terror in a matter of seconds. RIP Angela

    29. 129

oh sad sad, let's remember this day that people seem to know nothing about. i swear there are probably still americans out there who blame 9/11 on iraq. morons.

    30. 130

Re: bitchhoe – WoW! Your username is aptly chosen. Our government is fucked admittedly. But what makes you think that even ONE person in this country has any say in what happens? Democracy is dead. It's a farce. WE are not responsible for the hatred and ignorane displayed by this administration… So in short. GO FUCK YOURSELF! What I wouldn't give to run into you in a dark alley you ignorant, vapid and feckless cunt!

    31. 131

      Re: bitchhoe

I am not allowing you to disrespect our day of remembrance. In fact, I feel sorry for soapbox idiots like yourself. I pray that you don't lose a family member or a friend like so many did..I did. It changes you in ways you never believe in. Instead of crying every year, I dedicated my life to being about the sort of man my cousin was–a proud, brave man who lost his first son at the age of 1 month and created an organization to pay for families to have their children's heart operations performed. Keep your hate to yourself.

    32. 132

Re: sarango – you are right. DEMOCRACY IS DEAD!

    33. 133

Re: bitchhoe – Figures, Beamsville was founded by a traitorous coward. It's no wonder it's populated by nasty souless filth. Interesting, it must be the asshole of Canada because I have generally liked Canadians in the past.

    34. 134

it's sad that so many died but keep the "I pray for the families" and "god bless america" out of it.
sick of this religious bullshit people put on to make them feel better about themselves and loved ones they've lost.

    35. 135

I can not believe it has been seven years…so many bad memories…I cry still– :(

    36. 136

Re: beckey – Okay you moron. You don't wish people a "happy" september 11th. God some people are so fucking stupid.

It will never leave my mind as probably one of the most dumbstruck and sad days of my life. The entire country changed forever on that day.

    37. 137

Re: bitchhoeRe: bitchhoe – I like how all your favorite celebs are AMERICAN. Take your vile hate over to the CBC where you belong.

    38. 138

Re: cherrylink – YES ITS ALL ABOUT YOU.

    39. 139

      Re: sorelli

are you fucking serious you asshole? where are you from? certainly not america. i HOPE you endure the pain that all the families of victims have felt someday soon…then you'll know

    40. 140

      Re: bitchhoe

ughhhhhhhh kill yourself!! you obviously know nothing about AMERICA or the world. die. just die. do us all a favor

    41. 141

      Re: mesmart
      101. I loved the towers too, whenver I was in Manhattan they always stood so proud. Though there are no words to convey what a sad day this your story was quite touching. My thoughts are with those who lost loved ones.

did you learn that along with your knowledge on history? it all makes sense now!

      sucks to be stupid, eh?

    45. 145

i can remember it as it was just yesterday….i was flickin thru the stations when they were talkin about the 1st plane that crashed and saw how the 2nd one crashed…we thought it was some sort of fuckin movie!! I think the whole world felt the same horrible feeling realising that was actually happening.

Re: bitchhoe – To generalize all of America is ignorant. But, let's go by YOUR way of thinking for a moment. You think that America can do whatever they want and get away with it? Well, I, and MOST other Americans, would love to end World hunger, homelessness, child abuse, domestic violence and obtain adequate healthcare. Hmmm…doesn't look like we, Americans, have been able to achieve those things. How about you Canadians…any luck? When, exactly, did the US FORCE Canada to "go out on the lines and kill and be killed"? I didn't realize that the US had such power to dictate other countries' military policies. As for 'sacrificing' oneself for 'the cause'….I have had MANY family members who sacrificed themselves for their beliefs and Country. My step-grandfather was an engineer for the Army, during WWI (his inventions, patents and theories, which he developed for the USG, are published in manuals and still taught to new recruits), and, my maternal grandfather was there when the flag was impaled into the earth on Iwo Jima during WWII (he has an ACTUAL photo, of the event)…just to name two instances. You sound just like a petulant child….if your life hasn't turned out the way you expected and if you haven't achieved whatever it is that you feel that you deserve….you have no one to blame but yourself.I WOULD tell you that the 'World is your oyster'…but, you would probably wait for someone else to 'shuck' it for you, wouldn't you?

    47. 147

God bless America. Lets remember everyone that was lost today..

    48. 148

I LOVE and MISS you DADDY I WILL NEVER FORGET 9/11

    49. 149

We will NEVER EVER forget. RIP Victims. Peace to the friends and families of the victims.

    50. 150

      God Bless America.
      we should never forget.

    52. 152

Re: crazymegtay – We aren't over there for that anymore, its all about the oil. R.I.P. to all who have lost their lives due to this

    53. 153

Re: MRS.RICKY MARTIN – I agree, watch Loose Change.

    54. 154

I woke up this morning thinking about a lot of things, my best friends birthday is today, that I have to make an unexpected work trip, that I have sooo many things to do today….. then I remembered….

I was working in the Telecommunications industry back then and I lost many friends 7 years ago today in the World Trade Center. The news, the images, my grief and anger are something that I don't think that I will ever forget, nor will I forget the intent behind the attack. SO many families torn apart, so many friends lost, our innocence was lost…..

So, I decided that I would send a bulletin and a song that I recorded to all of my friends here on MySpace and ask all of us to remember somewhere in our busy days today to think of our Country and all that she stands for. No matter what our political views are, no matter how we are personally feeling in this unstable economy and environment, please remember that we have at least TWO things that we can count on, our love for our country…. and our love for each other. So….. I say "God Bless America"….. and I also send MY blessings to all of you, may you stay safe, may you stay loved and may you stay PROUD….

    55. 155

why don't we take a moment to reflect on the ~91,380 Iraqi civilians the American military and its allies are responsible for killing since 9/11

why did Americans have to go down to the level of the terrorists and destroy so many families?

    56. 156

      R.I.P.

thanks God for saving my dad!

    57. 157

God Bless our beautiful and free country. Fallen but never forgotten….

    58. 158

My heart is with those who lost loved ones that day…i can't believe so much time has passed.

    59. 159

Re: miniapp – I realized that I forgot to edit this to also mention the Perez readers on this message…. it is one that I also have on my MySpace account. So, before everyone has a fit about this not being "MySpace", please know that the intent and message is still the same…. and I send my thoughts, prayers and best wishes to everyone who lost loved ones on that day and those who have lost brave service men and women family members and friends to this day. God Bless you all……

    60. 160

I was in 6th grade and I still remember it so clearly.

    61. 161

I'm full of sadness for all the lives lost. Yet I'm really upset and angry at the government.

    62. 162

Even I'm willing to put the politics aside today. Al-Qaeda didn't discriminate between Democrats and Republicans when they slaughtered almost 3000 American citizens and international visitors to our country. If there's anything we can all agree on, it's the fact that September 11th was a tragedy and its victims deserve to be respectfully remembered.

Seven years. So long and yet so near. Gob Bless all those that I knew, and those I did not, as well as their families. This was a sad time here in New York, I don't want to ever see my fellow New Yorkers all walking around like the world crumbled in front of their faces (in so many ways it did). In all my years my city had never been so silent as people walked, all with tears streaming down their faces. God Bless the USA.

    64. 164

My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of everyone who lost someone they loved.

      I will never forget!

    65. 165

    67. 167

      R.I.P

    68. 168

I live in California it was 6 in the morning when the phone started ringing and I woke up to turn on the TV covered in news every channel and I watched as a tower fell, I saw images of specks popping out of windows, I thought it was just junk flying out little did I know it was people jumping for there lives, the images are stuck in my mind, my eyes tear up thinking of them and as I write this. Yes, God Bless America. Let us never forget this tragic event that at one point joined each and every one of us as if we were all one big family. I pray for everyone who lost someone from this event.

    69. 169

my little brother was born on 9-11 at the same time as it all started
rip to all who lost there lives

    70. 170

You just remember…7 years later… Where is Bin Laden? The Bush Administration still hasn't found him AND we were attacked under BUSH's watch…so you all remember that when you assholes go to vote for McSame in November!!!

    71. 171

When I heard it was 7 years I was shocked. I was only 7 when it happened but I still remember everything

    72. 172

      God bless America
      RIP

    73. 173

I cant believe some of these posts, have some respect for the lives lost and the families who have to deal with this tragedy every single day for the rest of their lives. I pray for all affected and hope God gives you the strength and peace to carry on. God Bless you all, and God Bless America.

    74. 174

Re: azz0r – Well put, they aren't praying for anybody.

    75. 175

Wow, seven years, yet it still feels so… raw. Like an open wound. I was in New York four weeks before the towers went down. My dad and I were on top of the Empire State building. It was my first memory of the city. We were looking out and my dad pointed the towers out to me. They captivated me and i told my father that they were my favorite buildings and asked if we could go inside. I remember him saying, "next time" with such confidence that there was going to be a "next time" it makes me feel sick. Four weeks later the world came crashing down. I was so young, to young to understand, but I still felt it. I felt hate coursing though my veins, the hate that only surfaces when you realize there isn't going to be a next time.
R.I.P All that were lost on that tragic day.

    76. 176

cha but more than 4500 have died in Iraq in an unnecessary war

God Bless all who were lost love you tommy…

    80. 180
