Lauren Conrad has just signed a three book deal with HarperCollins.
Kudos to the people who are making money off her.
They're milking her good!
She's doing a young adult fiction series called LA Candy.
It's loosely based on her 'transition from regular gal to recognizable face'.
LC said, "I've always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I'm so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers."
Aren't y'all sick and tired of her yet?
We wonder who'll really be writing the books.
Maybe she'll hire her recent college grad bestie, Lo, to do it for her - if she wants to guarantee a bomb!

I once saw a documentary on ringworm that was more interesting than any episode of "The Hills" This whole thing reminds me of when Jessica Simpson was on every magazine cover even though she hadn't done anything in ages. The mags need to sell so they try to create interest in nobodys so they have something to put in their magazines every week. This has got to be the case with this LC chick. She will dissapear faster than a dirty needle into Amy Winehouse's pocket.
