I see Jennifer Garner as being overpaid — I've only seen one of her movies — on cable. She's cute and nice and all, but not worth the $$. She came off of a TV show! Cate is paid so well because she brings the studios/producers/directors loads of award nominations. And they like that.

Blanchett? Really? I suppose that despite the fact that she's a very talented actor she doesn't make blockbuster films and that's where it counts. Like no one ever accused Leonardo DeCaprio of being a great actor yet he was in Titanic so you're NEVER going to see him on a list like this. Same with Katie "Looka Me I'm Crazy" Holmes. She was in Batman Begins, so she must REALLY be quality stuff, lol.

Agreed, but as much money as the executives are making on these films there's no way they could refuse to fork out the millions for the talent that makes em happen. Do that and we've got another music makers vs music industry hoopla. Baseball players vs .. whatever entity controls how much they can be payed. You get my drift.
