Designer Andreas Melbostad showed his Spring 2009 Phi collection in New York on Thursday.
MC Hammer style harem pants were part of his offerings.
Will you rock harem pants come spring?!

awww americans and their fashion knowledge make me smile. hareem pants have been in stores over here since spring summer 08.
all i have to say is what are these designers thinking, i've been watching all these fashion week shows and many of these designs are ugly, makes me want to puke!!!

This is a really bad trend. You'll see yourself in a photo with these pants on 5 years from now and you'll be like "what was I thinking"!!!

Don't be stupid… 99.9% of all Americans will never "rock" anything that appears on the catwalk during fashion week, unless it is cheap knock-offs of some of the tamer stuff (like the black and white outfit behind the hammer pants)

I had two pairs of these pants whe I was in college. I made one of the pairs and they looked just like the ones in the photo. They are comfortable and can be cool, so yes.
It doesn't matter. Gas is going to go up so high that no one can afford new clothes by spring anyway.

Beautiful! But Perez, not quite M C Hammer. He wore genie-in-a-bottle kind of pants. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to look attractive in these pants, and when they start to sell in WalMart every 5'2" 250 pound woman who wants to be stylish will be in them, kind of like the little flabby muffintops that were overflowing their pants all summer long in the name of fashion. I do love this style though.

These were in Barcelonian boutiques in the summer of '06; I guess we weren't in a rush of anticipation for these crappy diaper pants.
