Wow!
House star Hugh Laurie will be making $400,000 per episode in his new contract with the show.
That salary will make him one of the highest paid actors on TV.
That's a lot of money! We can't believe he's not the top earner!
His network mate, Keifer Sutherland, gets about $500K per episode for playing Jack Bauer on 24.
Laurie was making a 'measly' five figure rate per show when he started in 2004.
Way to move on up, doc!

Re: abercorey – hahaha…not in the normal sense, no. i work, i make my own money. you know, for stuff like over-priced Diesel jeans, Prada sunglasses, and the gas that I burn everyday to/from work AND the club. but i dont spend it on food. that would be a sin. calories = fat = sin. besides, I have about $1M worth of chik-fil-a food stamps! lol….he just pays all living expenses, car, credit cards, insurance, cell phone….that stuff.

As others have said, Laurie deserves it all — and more. A hugely talented and rather humble guy. A comedic genius with, of course, his pal Stephen Fry. Why not bring Stephen over for an episode? Anyway, braaaaavo to Hugh Laurie!

Speaking of Keifer I heard from people who have worked with him on set of 24 that he shows up 3 hours late and is pretty sauced up when he does show up.
