Patrick is boss. Im from Chicago and proud that he represents the city so well. Patrick can read the back of a colon cleanse bottle and I would totally be mesmerized. Patrick is a class act and that's why many people love him. Especially me!!!

I hope one day we will meet Patrick. The closest I've ever come was one day I was at Chuck E. Cheese and spied a kid that looks just like Patrick. So, being a total freak I started talking to him and for a second I thought I was talking to Patrick. Crazy. But, that kid was really cool and said he gets Patrick fans all the time. Ahhh… That story is pretty sad and lame on so many levels.

Whether or not you like FOB, Patrick has more knowledge of music than a lot of people in the business (but you don't see him gloating about it). That alone deserves respect, and has actually earned him a lot of credibility in the business among a variety of artists in different genres. But despite his gifts and accolades he, as well as the rest of the members of FOB, have not let their fame go to their heads. He's not only passionate about creating music, but he is also constantly seeking out different styles of music, and learning as much from it as he can. THAT is the mark of a true musician. Another mark of a true musician is not patronizing your audience (or yourself) by producing the same album. Each FOB album is different and unique as they strive to challenge themselves as they grow not only musically, but also personally. If you don't like the changes, that's totally fine, and you have a right to be upset (it sucks to fall out of love with a band you once admired), but it doesn't always mean that they are purposefully trying to alienate you, or that they sold out, or that they suck just because you haven't grown with them this time around. (Music can only suck as a fact when there is no thought behind its creation, and having analyzed a few of their songs, they demonstrate theory that moves passed common practice period styles.)
Finally, on a personal note, I think that Patrick is one intelligent, talented, handsome son of a gun. But that's just my opinion.

P.S. My post is so much longer than everyone else's. I feel like that one lone kid who actually participates in the exercises in drama class (wait…I was that kid.) :\

Pete Wentz is (a little too) pretty, but this guy is the real reason Fallout Boy got big… Most people hear a band before they ever see it. His vocals are awesome. I am in my mid 20's and probably way too old to like them, and I resisted at first, but I love the after-bridge chorus on "thanks for the memories." (and yes, I choose to actually spell out the words). There should be a fan club for non-teenage/college fans!
I met this guy at a show about a year ago, and not only is he musically just boss, but he's by far the sweetest guy I've ever met in passing. This guy was so honestly sweet he's really left a mark on my mind. I'm a 28 year old married mom, not a swooning teenager, by the way. Although Patrick could definitely make a gal swoon, haha!
I absolutely LOVE Patrick. Who cares about Pete, really? Not me. MORE PATRICK!!
