      LOL! There are many different kinds of rock - always have been. He probably wouldn't agree with the Beatles being rock either if you look at his discription of what rock is. Motley Crue is awesome! But the idea that a certain lifestyle makes rock I think is dead. Each era has a different "look" to it's rock style. In the 80's - Motley Crue was it. But today - they are not. When I look back at my old cd's of them, I laugh at their look. It was so cool then! But so not cool now! Let's move forward a few decades and stop living in yesterday (heh, didn't even mean to make a Beatles pun there….LOL!)

I feel such saddness for todays youth….we live in a time were most music sounds the same, it has been so processed and watered down that there is no longer a distinction between music genres. It had a quality of song-writing meaningful lyrics and people who could PLAY instruments. Calling the Disney set "rock" is an insult to the quality of that genre.
