Snoop's Cleared for Oz

On Friday, Australia's immigration department announced that California rapper Snoop Dogg has been granted a visa to enter Australia for an upcoming concert tour.
The department took into account the fact that Snoop had traveled to Australia three times without incident:
"In making this decision, the department weighed his criminal convictions against his previous behavior while in Australia, recent conduct—including charity work—and any likely risk to the Australian community. We took into account all relevant factors and, on balance, the department decided to grant the visa."
Take that, Oz Snoop protesters!
We hope Snoop totally follows through with his pledged commitment to do charity work with at-risk youth during his visit to the land down under!
The Dogg plans to tour the country with Ice Cube and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in October.

WTF?!??!?!?!?! You think we're strict and uptight?!?!?!? Dont you dare judge us when the USA Immigration have the audacity to refuse entry to people into your country who've had minor charges like speeding tickets or informal warnings without conviction for misdemeanors that sometgime s have happened decades earlier - there so many documented cases of that happening so do some research before slagging off other countries policies.
If any of you care about the reason this has happened in the first place is the last time this guy was here he did nothing but brag about his drug use in every interview he gave & it was all over the nations press that he demanded (and got) a private VIP area in a club here in Melbourne so he could smoke his precious dope - when all public venues here in Australia are smoke free. Here's hoping he's learnt something form this and respects this judgement & just brings a supply of valium instead thinking he's above breaking our drug laws.
