The last part of the Sarah Palin sit-down interview with ABC's Charile Gibson aired on Friday.
To us, it looks like Sexy Sarah resorted to the standard politician tactic of 'stir the pot' to win some points for her team.
Palin re-opened the Hillary wounds that the Dems tried so hard to heal at their Denver convention.
The Alaskan governor said:
"I think he's (Barack Obama) regretting not picking her now, I do. What, what determination, and grit, and even grace through some tough shots that were fired her way — she handled those well."
Is she implying that Hillary supporters will come to her camp now?
Would a true Hillary support really go over to the McCain/Palin ticket? Just because Sexy Sarah has a vajayjay???
Palin is the complete opposite of Hillary on POLICY.
They don't see eye to eye on abortion rights, stem cell research, environmental policies and gun control.
Logic to us says that people who would support Sarah would NEVER have supported Hillary, right?

The media cherry picked some women from the democratic convention to interview on camera who were so obsessed with putting a woman into the highest office of our nation that they were going to abstain from voting for anybody (i.e. Obama), and I bet there are a few who, sadly, will vote for Palin simply because of what chromosomes she possesses.
The sad thing is how selfish that is for anybody to do. I won't reveal what party I affiliate myself with, but I will say that if an African-American, conservative republican voted for Obama because of his skin color alone, I'd be shocked.

I have been working the phone banks for the Obama Campaign in Ohio and I have been cavassing neighborhoods. I am also going to a Hillary rally in Lorain, Ohio tomorrow. I have talked to a lot of voters who are so mad at the way that Hillary was treated that they are either voting for McCain or they are still undecided. I was originally for Hillary and was able to make the transition. The people who are switching to McCain are not putting thought into their vote, because Obama is equally qualified as Clinton and they stand for all of the same things.

I am deeply saddened that my generation does not take politics seriously. We are the generation of instant answers and instant gratification, and it's not a good thing sometimes, because we just skim the surface and read the headlines and make our decisions from there. Re: spawniecat – if you haven't heard what kind of change or what kind of hope he's talking about, then you've obviously not been listening. in practically all of his speeches he mentions his plans for the country. or better yet, go to his website before you start spouting ignorant crap like that. mccain/palin however have been stating their "stances" on things (always in a politically correct manner so as not to offend any voters, e.g. their statements of "i'm pro-life but i respect others with differing beliefs" "DOESN'T THAT MAKE YOU PRO-CHOICE?") but they always go on and on about what they "have" done, but never EVER what they would do.
i was surprised that obama didn't pick hilary like a lot of people, until i realized that biden is a smart pick. he complements obama well in policy and experience. it seems to me that he chose a running mate that would make his leadership more efficient, instead of going the politico (ala mccain) route of choosing a running mate for what seems to be the sole purpose of garnering more votes.
i've been reading and watching everything on this election with an open mind, i have no party affiliation, but i can't help feeling like it's an obvious choice.
