Talk about a shiteous idea!
Apparently, Columbia Pictures can't come up with anything new, so they're resorting to making sequels…..of really bad movies.
The studio is now in discussions with producer Joe Roth to create a new version of XXX.
And to make it even better, they want to bring back baby daddy Vin Diesel.
The 2002 original was bad enough, why make another????
The second flick, titled XXX: State of the Union, starred Ice Cube and was directed by Lee Tamahori.
The third flick is said to be titled, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage. It has no script yet.
According to reports, Diesel has agreed to return, as has director Rob Cohen.
Funny that Viesel has decided to do a sequel.
He didn't join the XXX sequel which had Ice Cube in it - he was asking for too much money!
He also turned down The Fast and the Furious sequel, and instead opted for a cameo role, and he skipped appearing in the third flick all together.
However, now Viesel is returning to XXX and he's also rejoining for the fourth flick of Fast & Furious, which will be released next June.
Looks like someone is REALLY desperate for money now.

Umm.. Xander Cage was killed off (they used a stunt double for Diesel) in the DVD release [of the first] "XXX".. I believe that was done after they had chosen Ice Cube to replace him in the 2nd movie.. So how are they gonna explain this?? jeez.. LOL

He decided not to do the second of XXX or the fast and the furious because they wanted him to do the chronicles of riddick, and couldn't do all of them, so he chose riddick, which was a good idea!

I think your assessment of Vin Diesel's career is incorrect. He's not running out of movie offers. When that happens, THEN his career will be over. For now, he seems to be in demand. Babylon AD is still in theaters.

Wow, check your facts. He was in the first Fast & Furious movie and had a cameo in the third. They totally left the third one open for a fourth though. I'm not sure how they're going to pull of a vin diesel to ice cube to vin diesel thing for XXX, but its a cheesy action movie and they can get away with it.

(fast & furious) diesel was not in part 2 because he was working on another movie, the cameo was in part 3 because he was unavailabe during filming untill the end so they asked if he wanted in so he did.

Actually he opted out of the sequels to XXX and Fast and the Furious to do the Riddick Trilogy. He actually turned down more money for those movies than what he was getting for doing Riddick.

Perez, you fucked up. Diesel was in the 1st Fast N the Furious, skipped the 2ND, and had a cameo in the 3rd.
Actually he wasn't in the 2nd Fast & Furious movie at all and made a quick cameo in the 3rd one at the end.
Just wanted to point out that Vin did make a cameo in the 3rd (of a horrible series of movies) Fast and the Furious…. meh He should prob get a new agent …and better movies
