It's Worse Than Expected - The Cancer Spread

It's not the news doctors or Jade Goody's family expected to hear.
Doctors discovered during her 8-hour operation on Friday that the British reality star's cervical cancer spread further than initially thought.
Sad.
Goody's surgeons found that the cancer has reached 'Stage Three' (moved beyond the organ). There were cancer cells in a muscle behind her womb.
Her recovery odds are slightly above 50%.
To help her chances, she'll need to do an intense 9-week chemo treatment.

Even though she's a publicity seeking whore (like yourself) I do feel sorry for her and anyone going through a cancer battle. A friend of mine has two inoperable brain tumours and is having chemo, nothing much I as a friend can do but take them out to clubs and restaurants to take their mind off it for a few hours. I hope Jade's family will help her in the same way.
She's a racist thief. She doesn't deserve to get better.
Kylie Minogue was graceful and dignified during her cancer battle but for Jade this has been a door back into the limelight after it shunned her.

I haven't heard of her prior to this. This really is very sad. Best of luck to her and her family. She could be the 50% that makes it through this alive.

People suffering in pain always sucks… but who is this woman? From what I heard she wasn't very good to others. I don't care to see stories about her, but hopefully her condition will change her outlook on things.

i feel bad for her, but cervical cancer is nearly 100% preventable. she should have gotten pap smears. if she had, doctors would have known to be on the watch long before the cancer even developed. when things started getting bad, they could have treated her. there is NO REASON for a woman in the developed world to face the diagnosis she received–even if the disease had progressed to cancer quickly, doctors could have been on top of things long before the cancer could spread at all. the fact is, cervical cancer is PREVENTABLE for women in the developed world, with access to health care–just like jane goody.
I pray God heals her.
Re: JenAtailia – cancer didn't pick her. she picked cancer by refusing to have annual paps. this is a preventable cancer in the developed world. if you are sexually active and don't see your gyno, you should pretty much assume that you are at substantial risk for cervical cancer. jane goody exposed herself by having sex, and then put herself at continued risk by not seeing a gynecologist.

Its probably not half as bad as is described she is a publicity whore. Just watch she will be kicking around for many many more years…she'll be miraculously cured and she will sell her story and get back in peoples good graces.

Without a doubt this is sad, but PLEASE… cervical cancer is one of THE most treatable cancers because it takes a very long time for it to actually become cancer in the first place. Yearly paps are exactly what this is for! A woman will have cervical displaysia for a mightly long time before even the first cancer cells appear… and even then there's much time before you go past an "in situ" stage of cancer. How many years was this woman NOT going for paps???????

I do feel bad for anyone with cancer…But it's called Karma. Perez, you obviously never saw what a horrible person she was in the Big Brother house. She made Shilpa Shetty's time in the house a living hell. She was the ring leader of the little group that terrorized all of the others. I hope she recovers and I hope she has learned something from this…
