It's finally Sexy Sarah's first big day on her own!
Like Sadie Sandler a preschooler armed with mother's sack lunch, Palin ventured to the swing-state of Colorado on her first trip outside of her home state without McCain.
The recently selected vice presidential candidate and current governor, who can boast only limited experience outside of Alaska, was held from view while aides rushed to update her on a variety of issues.
Now remember, if ever you should falter, just remind everyone that you're a woman!!!!

Palin spoke mainly on the issues of energy, government reform, and helping families with special needs, as Palin's four-month-old son has Down Syndrome, and the crowd cheered when she declared, "too often the government is the problem" rather than the solution. Yeah, like when it restricts stem cell research, which advocates claim could be the key to unlocking treatments and cures to numerous diseases.
Sexy Sarah also claimed that Obama's proposals to raise income, payroll, investment income, business, and death taxes is "not the way you grow the economy," but independent groups such as the Tax Policy Center concluded that four out of five American households would actually receive tax breaks. She declared her support for McCain's "'above all' strategy for energy independence." In other words, drilling Alaska for all its worth.
Palin said McCain liked her idea of placing Washington's checkbook online, so "everyone can see where their money goes," just like she did in Alaska.

no one RESTRICTS stem cell research. any company out there can do all the research they like and get the rewards with any breakthrough they make. what gov't CAN do is NOT use YOUR tax dollars for stem cell research. THAT is the difference. no one is restricted from doing stem cell research in this country.

Palin's experience may be limited, but atleast I can pin actual political accomplishments to her name. All Obama's done is vote yes or no, and in many cases he's been present and not voted at all. Palin's decisions as governor have fallen completely on her, Obama votes with a group and has far less responsibility, he's not held accountable for his decisions, she is.

You need money to do any medical research worth a damn, and that money needs to come from the government to get large support and the necessary funding. Drilling is a very, very short term solution to a very imminent long term problem. And Palin, who isn't exactly the frontrunner when it comes to energy policy, hasn't said what a long term solution would be, like funding more environmentally friendly energy solutions. Like Obama said and Palin echoes, we can't solve 21st century problems with 20th century solutions. Drilling might've worked before and avoiding government support of stem cell research, but this is a dawn of a new age.
So sick of this woman! I am also baffled by how Americans are so gullible. Voting for someone because she is a woman! A woman who is dumber than a horse! The Republican Strategists have written all her speech and kept her locked up for days studying policies! So ridiculous!

And as far as drilling in Alaska goes, the area she wants to drill isn't near as large as the amount of land she has set aside and protected. The overwhelming majority of Alaska will still be very safe from an envirnomental point of view, we also need to start offshore drilling. While democrats are busy whining about how they think it will harm their environment companies are going out of business because they can't afford rising gas prices and many families are struggling to afford the cost as well. We need to drill right away and look for more forms of energy for their benefit, a little drilling in small uninhabited areas of Alaska and offshore is a worth while sacrafice.
It would be great to do some stem cell research on the ignorant racist fetuses who comment on this blog. Alas, its too late. They are born…and now they can type.

Barack Obama would like you to believe the economy is the worst it's been since the Great Depression. Let's see, during the Depression we saw unemployment at 33% (currently at 6.1%) and not a single business made a profit for 4 years. As of the current quarter, the majority of publicly owned companies (more than 50%) made a profit. This is NOTHING like the Depression. Obama needs to quit scaring people. Sure times are tough. We are really feeling the pinch of $4.00 gas across our entire economy, in everything we do and buy. It takes gas to do everything. When energy prices come down, so will the cost of doing business and prices will follow.
