Jimmy Choo isnt gay, he plays golf with my dad so he knows him! hes a cool guy, and drew me a pic of my own shoe…. amazing! hes malaysian (some trivia for you) and actually doesnt own the company, his wife (or ex wife not sure) manages most of it… hope this was useful info!

malaysian is i think correct. my dad is of chinese descent… but he grew up in malaysia (near Mr Choo) and the race (as known in malaysia) is Chinese Malaysian, its like saying and Asian American…. you are right he is not MALAY (a particular race) but Malaysian is his citizenship- i can bet he has a malaysian passport as he attends annual Malaysian Independence day DInners. sorry to be pedantic! x
No it's not. So the correction was appropriate that he is Chinese.That's because when you say Malaysian, you think the person is of Malaysian descent.
When you hear that someone is American, you NEVER think the person is native American (American Indian), who are the only real "Americans." So, because we are a country that is mostly populated by non-natives, American is not a descent-revealing description.
