Is Tina Coming Back???

Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, Sarah Palin as Tina Fey? The two do bear a striking resemblance! In fact, Tina Fey's impression of the Republican vice presidential candidate was so hilariously spot-on that the season premiere of SNL debuted to an opening high.
The skit has even experienced viral success on the interenet and, as we know, that's how you know you've made it!
Naturally, as the country's biggest overnight celebrity since her selection as John McCain's running mate not too long ago, Palin will be a recurring character on SNL, which has been traditionally conscious of politcal current events.
But…
Will Tina Fey encore her SNL performance with a Sarah Palin reprise? Maybe even as soon as this Saturday????
SNL spokesman Marc Liepis says they are taking it "day by day," though he admits it is unlikely, especially with Tina Fey's role on the the "successful" comedy 30 Rock.

While 30 Rock has garnered several Emmy nominations, icluding a nod to Tiny Fey for Best Comedic Actress, no one watches it!
And, with the Emmys scheduled to air this Sunday in Los Angeles, it is ulikely that Fey could be in New York Saturday night - unless she takes a page from J.Lo's jetsetting party book!
But who knows? After all, it was the anticipation that Fey may or may not appear last Saturday that boosted the show's ratings!

I totally watch 30 Rock…I think it is the funniest half-hour comedy on TV. SNL is played out. They need to have a complete makeover or just let it rest in peace because it is rarely funny anymore. The last episode of it that I truly enjoyed was the last time Justin Timberlake was on it…That was about two years ago so I am just sayin' maybe it is time to pack it in and move on.
First of all, people watch and like "30 Rock." I have yet to miss an episode.
Second, the Sarah Palin sketch was at the very beginning of the show, which would make it difficult to have gotten such high ratings if people were only watching to see the skit–why did they not change the channel as soon as it was done? It was higher rated for another reason…the first new episode of the season, one of the only new episodes in the past year…etc. etc. etc.
I love you, P, but I am getting annoyed with the less interesting things you have been posting lately…steering clear of celebrity gossip-worthy news like Britney's new album…I know I should just scroll past what I do not like, but, that would mean I would have to scroll past your site completely the way it has been going lately. Just…a let-down.

30 Rock is awesome. Everyone I know watches it. It's a viral hit like Arrested Development or Firefly - which admittedly doesn't bode well for it's continuance but those were the shows the smart, fan kids watched.

I love Tina but I despise Alec Baldwin - he keeps me from watching that show. I watched when it first aired and his pouty little Olsen twins lips just don't fit in. I don't care how big of a star he thinks he is!
I watch 30 Rock and LOVE it. It's taken the place of the Office as my favorite show on television. My husband and I think it's probably too intelligent and fast paced for most people to get, but we can't get enough of it.
