His History Of Extending The Olive Branch

According to an analysis by The Washington Times of legislative records of the presidential candidates, John McCain's history of working with Democrats outdoes Obama's work with Republicans.
The silver-haired vet is more bipartisan than the Illinois Senator.
For McCain, Democrats populated 55% of his political partners through the past two Congresses, which included some difficult issues such as campaign finance and global warming. For Obama, however, Republicans composed only 13% of his co-sponsors during his time in Senate, which included honoring civil rights icon Rosa Parks with a postage stamp.
If you want some more numbers, McCain has voted with the majority of Senate Republicans 85% of the time throughout his Senate career, while Obama voted in favor of his party 97% of the time.
So, basically, McCain is a Republican who happens to agree with Democrats more often than Obama, a Democrat, happens to agree with Republicans.
So you see, even the Republican presidential candidate is voting Democratic!

The media makes no sense! They keep flip flopping like mad! I thought McCain agreed with Bush 90% of the time!? They'll say whatever they want as long as they can bash McCain or Palin.
And I'll say this. I never wanted McCain to win the republican ticket. He was too DEMOCRAT for me!! But I disagreed with Obama more, so it was like less of the two evils for me. BUT NOW Palin is there, and I love her more than McCain.. so now i'm not voting out of spite.
April 2006- McCain was one of only 13 senators to vote AGAINST $430 million for the Department of Veteran's Affair's for medical services for outpatient care and treatment of vets.
May 2006- McCain voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veteran's Affairs for Health care.
These are just 2 instances of McCain showing how he does not support our troops and vets. He has repeatedly shown he wants war but does not want to support the men and women who fight for his war! A war that he supports 100%!
I want this man's psych eval released asap.
Re: DaLa – Both Republicans and Democrats have said they would NEVER bring back the draft so quit trying to use scare tactics to get people to like Obama
All you dimwits who want to vote McBush/Palin, go right ahead. They say, "Get the government out of people's lives, government is the problem." Well, why the fuck are they now socializing all these financial institutions almost daily. Today it's AIG. It's been Bear/Stearns, and on and on.
Your country is going in the tank, and they don't want you to have government run health insurance, but for the top 1%, they bail them out in a minute. Think I am lying, read the papers daily, any paper. Oh, the draft can't away. The military is broken, Iraq is a powder keg, Afghanistan is run by the Taliban, Pakistan is about to blow, Russia is about to move on it's former territories, and we don't have enouigh military personnel to a damned thing about it. Yet, McBush/Palin are warmongers.
Re: AnnetteLaz – Post #88

Thank You for clearly stating how each candidate stands on important issues.
*
I still can't resist coming here to read outrageous, biased, hateful opinions based on erroneous information, rumor, and misinterpretation.

Love you Andy27

All that shows is that McCain is more willing to work with everyone Democrat or Republican as opposed to Obama who is so closed minded and left winded that he never votes against his party. I would rather have someone that will go against party lines.
Re: madnifque – There is a seperation of church and state if you actually knew your history Palin was quoting some of what our fore fathers had said about Gods will. Know your fucking shit people.
Re: Andy27 – That Curious George comment was racist, asshole. Go ahead and vote for the old man, people like you deserve it. Just watch the news and see the economy and collapse all around you. Dimwits like you will sit in the house and watch tv, while the house burns all around you.
Re: Bavaria – She didn't fucking say anything was God's will, she said lets pray that we follow God's will you moron.
Re: SquirrelLives – the #'s really are obscene……….$28,000/plate dinner tonight……..not including entertainment!?!?
.
.I have an idea that will not only cut costs, but give the voters an actual chance to compare and contrast these two and make an informed decision on the 4th
.
.Obama & McCain…….one jet……50 states…..50 days…..50 "debates"……..one pool camera…………no soundbites
Re: Bavaria – Personally, I think you are the idiot not Andy27…
HOw funny McCain crossing party lines. That's the former McCain. The current version of McCain voted over 95 percent with Bush. He also put his name on bills with Feingold and Kennedy and then voted against his own bill because he got so much crap from Bush and the other Republicans. If he were a true maverick, he would told Bush to take a hike but no he went along with it and became Bush's little butt boy.
Finally Perez, thanks for being a little bi-partisan
Re: LordKain – I am actually not all together happy with Bush, it reallys says a lot about all you Dems that if someone doesn't agree with you then they must be stupid ignorant people. You all just like to believe whatever suits you at the time.
There is NO choice.
Re: knumbknuts – You think McBush solves problems, lookup the Keating Five. Ask the veterans in the country about how he continually votes against their interest, even though he constantly brags about being, explain he voted against his own immigration bill, why as a victim and supposed opponent of torture, he supported the Bushies in their desire to torture, why he now courts the Religious Right, when previously he called them "agents of intolerance," why he now has the Bush people running his campaign, who in the 2000 primaries said the he'd fathered him Malaysian stepchild with a black prostitute. Problem solver my ass, he's not even a flipflopper, he's a kiss-ass.
when obama is 116 years old, i'm sure he will have had lots of time to work with people outside his party too
For the past 2 years, it has been the DEMOCRATS who pushed credit companies into giving mortgages to poor people who couldnt afford it. The DEMOCRATS have been in control of Congress for two years, and have a 9% approval rating. Please don't anyone talk about the problems with the economy if you are only going to use it to further your agenda.
Obama is inexperienced. He doesn't know how to work both sides of the aisle. In fact, he has no clue.
Obama is trying to steal my money that I worked hard for, and give it to some lazy schlub on welfare. That's not the kind of change I'm looking for. Now go ask Keith Olbermann how you should respond to that.
Well- he's been there for 100's of years, keeper of the crypt
Dems have had a smal majority and nothing can be done without 60 votes therefore nothing gets approved. Check out the 95 times the Repubs have fillabustered anything that was trying to be done. Personally, I think the Dems are a useless sack but get the facts right. Yes, they've been in "control" for 2 years but this problem has been brewing for years. The current problems are due to the adminstration's econimics and not Congress. But if you want to continue to blame Congress then let's see who was in charge of Congress for the 12 years prior. Hmmm let me think. Do you know the answer: Tom Delay and all the other crooks. That's right the Republican party.
I'm just waiting to see if BO gets elected. Come January the ilk will try and say that he started the war and expect people to believe the lies.
thank you perez for your attempt at not being biased towards Obama. Your job is supposed to be to inform the public and NOT try to sway their with your own misguided and misinformed opinions. Lately you have been all about Obama and hatin on McCain…but I guess this is a step in the right direction. Biased Liberal media and hollywood would usually not acknowledge ONE thing good about McCain.
Fine. Whatever about the post. But, has anyone noticed the pic of McCain holding his wife's wrist instead of her hand? To me, that speaks volumes.
I do think that McCain can be an excellent president, he has more experience dealing with politics and he would have easily gotten my vote this year if he would have not picked that monster of Palin. It scares me as a woman that there is talk of my rights being evoked! I’m definitely pro life and against abortions but depending on the matter sometimes they are needed plus other social issues that she is against that I am for….And that is why this November with out thinking twice my vote is certain for Obama and his running mate Biden, FOR CHANGE and DIVERSITY!
PEREZHILTON.COM Queen of all Democratic Liberal "save the world" ass-kissing bla bla bla I could go on forever.
Come on Perez, stick to what you know, Stick to what Heidi Montang wore last night.
I only visit your site like twice a week now, I used to visit everyday. Pull your head out.
[re=2882407]Re: Jenki04[/re ]

Re: SmellyVirus/MileyCyrus –
Sorry ignore that last one….
-
No he's not being fair, he can't even post anything positive or any nuetral information about Mccain or the Republican party without adding his Ignorant 2cents or Snotty comments at the end like " see Mccains voting democrats" just shows how biased, one sided, and IGNORANT he is….obviously never been educated and has no idea how to just make a post and then STFU without his extra shitious opinions!
Re: jenn96 –
Please NEWSFLASH Obama hasn't voted on SHIT!!
-
EVERYONE LISTEN UP PLEASE!!!! HIS ONLY EXPERIENCE IS SPENDING 154 DAYS IN THE SENATE AND OUT OF THOSE 154 DAYS HE VOTED PRESENT 130 TIMES. THE MAN DIDN'T DO SHIT HIS ENTIRE TIME IN THE SENATE. A PRESENT VOTE IS NOT A YES OR A NO, IT JUST MEANS YOU SAT THERE AND DID NOTHING, DO WE REALLY WANT A PRESIDENT WHO CANT EVEN MAKE A YES OR NO VOTE IN THE SENATE? WHATS HE GOING TO DO WHEN HE FACES REAL DECISIONS WHERE HE CAN'T VOTE PRESENT……EVEN HILARY CLINTON MADE THIS POINT NUMERIOUS TIMES!!! OBAMA BIN BIDEN IS A JOKE!!
I'm not scared of McCain.
I'm scared of Sarah Palin.
This is bullsh!t. Look at the difference in the amount of time the two of them have served!!!!!!
If Obama had served the amount of time McCain has his m=numbers would probably be very close to McCains.
Way to be one sided PereZ!!
I still love you though
Re: ImActuallyMe – Well love, I do my research, perhaps do not critisise how well read a person is without information - and your comments seem to prove my point. If you are objecting to a law or policy based on a conscience vote, then you are very clearly injecting your personal opinion and faith in the decision. When a politician or S.C judge does that, how is that equality of religion for those who are non-Christian, or perhaps do not practice their faith?
P-you know I love you, but stop letting the repressed Republican in you come out…unfortunately smart people know this and the stupid majority don't, but if he gets into office, lobbyists will have him by the balls, and he will be working to appease the extreme right wing with their stupid elitist ideals
