I WORKED LONG AND HARD, for over 30 years, to provide lifetime security for my family…and, when there is a possible threat of it collapsing, I don't feel that my 'serious posts on a gossip site' are unwarranted.
Yes, I DO realize that there are people without health, life, car, homeowners insurance. But, since I worked long, and hard, for what I have….I REALLY don't care about the others (in this country) who haven't foreseen the need for such things. Most of those who don't have insurance DO have the internet…and, they can read the EXACT SAME financial notices that I can.
I AM NOT my brothers/sisters keeper.
I'm just gonna say that wasn't necessary.

And it's very wrong of you to assume that those people who cannot afford health insurance don't work hard. I know families that have parents each working 80 hours a week and they're living pay check to pay check. Of course, somewhere down the line they made a mistake in not attaining a higher education and/or working for a higher paying career, but the past is the past and now they're working their asses off to keep their families under a roof. You are not the only one with problems.
