At the tender age of four, Steve Irwin's son, Bob, might host his own wildlife show.
In a recently filmed pilot, Bob expertly handles reptiles and even wrestles a mini-crocodile!

Taking after his father and even his older sister, Bindi, whose own animal program is broadcast on the Kids Discovery Channel, Bob insists on being, as he puts it, "mister independence."
The family watches Steve Irwin DVDs every morning at breakfast.
Isn't that a little bit creepy????????
Terri, Steve's widow, insists otherwise, saying that it's "comforting and familiar" and even "special" for Bindi and Bob, of whom she says "is a little Steve clone."
Better keep him clear of stingrays then!

There is nothing wrong with his kids and wife watching videos of him to keep his memory alive. Obviously she wants them to grow up with the image of him around.
As for their overexposure, it may be too much. But the kids seem to love doing it. So what is the harm?

The kid is 4…Why would he have his own TV show?? That is ridiculous! Kids at that age should be out playing and leading carefree lives, not acting and putting themselves in danger in front of the camera! And maybe they want to do other things with their lives, not the risky business of "croc hunting." It seems like their mother is forcing them to do things, whether they like it or not. They sure are cute tho!
Bendi's show is cute. But the 4 year old is way too young.
Watching a DVD occasionally to remember their dad is fine, but watching every morning doesn't allow them to properly process it and move on. What is Terri Irwin thinking?? These poor little TV-whore children.

I'm glad Steve Irwin died.
I just hope that the kids are allowed to be kids and not workhorses. I hate hearing about children that are put in show business & not given the opportunity to interact with other children, play sports, take up hobbies . . . etc.
If my husband died while my kids were young (& he almost did) I would always have reminders of him around so they could get to know who he was as a person . . . but to play videos of him everyday? Well, I guess, if they asked, I would play them . . .
If my husband died and my children wanted to watch video footage of him everyday, I would let them. He's their father, for chrissakes, and if that makes them feel closer to him, I'd be the first one to pop that video in.

No four-year-old says "mister independence". Those kids are not normal kids. I liked Steve Irwin but there is something very sinister about his widow. And I hate to sound mean but Bindi's eyes look evil to me. I think watching those videos every morning sounds morbid. Those children should be allowed to live normal happy kid lives and stop all this crap they're doing. It's insane.

no, he's right. steve irvine has put himself in danger on many occasions, so why is his FOUR year old son "forced/allowed" to do the same stupid things? animals are mostly capable to kill a human, steve often disturbed them and challenged them - and it now seems as if his kids are growing up doing the same mistakes.

The kids seem happy. I'm sure their mother is doing the best she can.

Loved to watch Steve and Terry on TV!! But…what is up with the bags under these kids eyes. They looked severely exhausted.
It's both STUPID and DANGEROUS to handle wild animals. It's absolutely ridiculous to let children as young as four handle tame household pets let alone WILD animals. Animals are unpredictable. Mark my words, these kids will go out like their father unless their mother grows a brain.
If the kids find it comforting they should watch their dad. Bindi's is animated like her dad not acting so is Robert. We write our own charts and are screwed when we don't go with lifes flow.
