I watched her interview this morning and it seems as though that she takes no responsibility for what happened to Britney. When Britney became adult, you can no longer hold her parents responsible for her actions and decisions, but from the time she entered the entertainment industry Lynn gave the impression that she was vey “hands off” in her daughter’s career. I also think that it is very inappropriate for Lynn to release a tell all book especially when it seems like Britney is finally piecing her life back together.

I don't care whether your kid is in the public eye or not it's never, ever ok to write a book about them and open their private life to the public's scrutiny. There are things I've said and done in front of my family members that I wouldn't want the world at large to know about because it's private. She comes across as being authentic…not that i am defending her lack of accountability which she candidly admits that she takes full responsibility for her children's issues. I think she did say that she was blown away by the wall of fame and fortune and sadly, got sucked in and wasn't able to provide the needed guidance for her children. I really do feel sorry for her and although she may seem like a media whore now with the publication of her book, she has chosen to a common sense approach to have everything out there. I didn't think that she had the skills or the mindset of a good parent but she's still learning how to be one. Life gives one many chances to do better !

i dont know why you guys are being so cruel to this woman. i kinda feel bad for her. lets face it, teenagers can be uncontrollable at times. i went to private school and most of the girls' parents were blinded. thought they had the girls in control and that they were angels but as soon as they would get to school, the skirts would be rolled up so high that panties would almost show, they would be all over the boys, not to mention the cutting classes and the stories of sneaking boys into their bedrooms… i can only imagine what it must be like to try to control celebrity daughters.(especially since girls are so easily influenced)
