Comedian Margaret Cho has released a single on iTunes.

For reals.

The song, I Cho Am A Woman, was produced by hitmaker Desmond Child, who has worked with the likes of Bon Jovi and Ricky Martin.

And, this is no one-off!

Cho's publicist, Ken Phillips, tells us exclusively, "Margaret is working on an album. It should be out next year."

Listen to her first single, I Cho Am A Woman, below.

Thoughts????

Sounds like Heidi Montag. I saw it on her show, and the intent was funny.

She is hilarious! The song is obviously for fun, but all kidding aside - She actually has a GREAT voice…She cho has a back-up plan if she gets tired of the stand-up circuit.

    7. 107

GAWD. She is annoying - why is she suddenly popping up again?

    8. 108

      So DESPERATE

Re: fallensweet23 – I agree…it's not BAD but not good either. Doesn't she sound like christina chen but a-voice-lessons-better chen? i think she should stick with what's she good at, being a kick ass comedian.

this is a really cool song! i hope that's her real voice and not edited too much…

    11. 111

It could be worse. Heidi Montag anyone?!

    12. 112

Wow, I was impressed Margaret! Way better than ScarJo!!

    13. 113

the song is corny, but i like her vibe in it. she has a decent recording voice. much better than i imagined. ill give it a B+

    14. 114

      Surprisingly Good

    15. 115

i love it! MARGARET CHO is the shit!

    16. 116

This is a joke and it is so funny!!! Love the Cho!!!!

    17. 117

Not a fan of the music but she has a really good voice, I admit I'm surprised.

    18. 118

umm better than heidi montag hahahahahaha, if that means anything. overproduced mess, however, and very very cliched lyrics! hmmmm

It's not the worst pop music I've heard, but like many others have stated, I won't be buying it.

    21. 121

      OMG!!!
i just fell in LOOOOOVE all over again!!!

    22. 122

i don't like the song but her voice is really good.. she should get some better songs

    23. 123

      now that's one ugly dick

    24. 124

holy crap- didnt know you had it in ya Marge! damn girl you go- and it sounds way better than that idiot from the Hill's what's her name–oh yeah flailing jazz hands magee! and even jlo has a run for her money on this one

    25. 125

She's better than this first single. I hope she can get some meatier tracks with better (less synth) beats. Strip it down a bit - the talent may actually be there. Add it to her resume, fierce bee-yotch, diva, comedienne, actor, and now…singer!

    26. 126

Um.. I have to say that Heidi Montag should have used Cho's voice… it's actually really good. :)

    27. 127

Inneresting! I'll stay tuned to hear the rest before I pass judgment. Might be pretty good!
