Her new show hasn't even been on the air for a month and she's already kicking ratings ass!
With 1.8 million viewers, MSNBC's newest anchor, Rachel Maddow, has the highest rated show on the net.
In fact, her ratings even beat CNN's Larry King, who clocked in with 1.7 million.
She's savvy, funny and oh so smart.
It's no wonder that she's doing well!
If we were a lesbian, we'd so want her to be our girlfriend.

Re: clarclar180 – I think people should check her out regardless of their leanings. She definitely knows what she is talking about and if anything, she opens up the lines of intelligent discourse. There is room for everybody. It's refreshing. As far as I can tell, she doesn't spin a bunch of crap, but reports the facts as she understands them, and then opens it up for debate.

Rachel Maddow is the best thing that has happened to MSNBC in a very long time…it is very refreshing to see a woman front a political news program that is honest, witty and upfront. She’s definitely not afraid to speak her mind and I applaud MSNBC for giving her the platform to do so.

Thank you, MSNBC for not dumbing down your presentations, or your presenters. I keep hearing about ratings in key demos, and that FOX always beats MSNBC in overall numbers, but I wish someone would give IQ tests to the average viewers of O'Reilly and Hannity, vs. Olbermann and Maddow. I think it's a really safe assumption that MSNBC would win that contest.

BS. Highest rated show on the net…this story is funny. Perez does not mention that Rachel get here ass kicked every night by The O'reilly Factor, who has 4.6 million people watching. O'reily, kicks Maddow, Olbertard and Matthews put together. If you want real persepctive you should watch O'reilly instead. For example, I watched Maddow last week, she said, "they lied". Well that's great, so what did they lie about? I was left so diappointed. She did not provide what exactly was lied about and could not provide back info. At least O'reilly does this, presents the audience with the info and let's them decide. Rachel sux and is mad at the world.

Ok so let me get this straight. Rachel Maddow is supposed to be MSNBC's savior? Doesn't she work for Air America…which is a sinking ship plagued with poor ratings and no income. Air America is in the poor shape it is because of the hate spewing false propaganda. Well…hopefully the tag team of Olbermann and Maddow will sink MSNBC even farther into the ratings abyss. Sure, Fixed News consistently gets the highest ratings. But that says more about the kind of people who watch Fox than it does the quality of their programming.

Fixed fans are the kind of people who depend on television to get information. They can't stand to listen to different opinions or ideas and are stupidly loyal; even to the point where they're being duped or used. It's not really surprising that Fox gets high ratings.
