Does anyone one this site know ANY thing about scientology? The only info I have about them is from south park, which I doubt is accurate, and when I went into a center of Scientology in my city, the pamphlet they gave me made no sense and neither did the interview - it went down like this -

Awesome!!! I tried to get a 2 1/2 month marriage to a Scientologist ( very high up on the bridge) annuled due to fraud and " The Church" went wacko on me. This is a very scary and dangerous group of people. Ask a Scientologist what the church feels about homosexuality. You won't get a straight answer. Just a " slant" of an explanation.
All you can do is shake your head and try and stay protected from all of them.

Yes, I know, and there was MUCH controversy in the German media and press cause authorities had given them permission to shoot the movie on REAL location. They should not have been allowed to, in my opinion!
And it DID raise a lot of eyebrows when the chief editor of FAZ held a looooooooong speech praising Tom Cruise in Duesseldorf and giving him some "award" (i forgot what award that was, he was there with Katie Holmes), the audience looked quite disgusted judging from their facial expressions I saw on television when it was televised….
I hope Ursula Caberta of the Hamburg based Government institution will manage to get them BANNED finally and ENTIRELY! They authorities just closed down some clandestine Scientology pre-kindergarden schools in Munich. when they detected they were run by Scientology members…

South Park was actually pretty accurate. Try Googling it, or use Ask & you will find stuff. We were visiting LA last year & took my daughter to Hollywood. We passed the gigantic Scientology center & she saw that crap for their Dianetics (or whatever), then asked to go inside to take the test. I nearly fainted since I took that stupid test 27 years ago & they really bugged me - calling every day & being really pushy. They didn't mind at all that I was a minor (15), but my parents raised hell & they backed off to some extent. Never got entirely rid of them until I married, changed my name, became a homemaker & moved.

I'm a Christian and I don't have to give a single dime to my church if I don't want to. Most Classes my Church gives are completely free, Now like the retreats we will have to pay what the church pays, but they aren't making money off of it. In My church If you don't have a Bible , they give you one. In that religion to advance spiritually you have to take expensive readings and you have to give extra money to their "church" I'm sorry but that is so wrong nad it is not what God wants! Back in the 60's it was banned pretty much all over the world leaving L Ron Hubbard to live on a yacht off the Spanish coast.!! That was before they pretended to be a "religion", and was in fact why they applied to be registered as a religion in order to practice again . They had tried and failed to register as a charity.!!!

Good. I am concerned that Isaac Hayes may have been a victim of Scientology's methods of health "cures." He'd had a stroke and from what I understand, they means of treating such things is to take massive doses of Niacin and be confined a hot sauna. If this is true, alot of good it did the "late" Mr. Hayes.
