Political beliefs are political beliefs and everybody is entitled to their own, but it would be nice if people could justify their stances with, ya know, tangible reasons. Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting celebrities to have actual fully-formed, intelligent opinions on anything (that would be expecting too much from them), but let's look at Margaret Cho here. She says that McCain and Palin "have actually become the worst ticket imaginable", but instead of making a cogent argument to support her stance, she goes off on some kind of stupid lewd rant. Again, more power to her and that's her prerogative to do so, but when you see this stream of profanity juxtaposed next to her "political beliefs", do you honestly think anybody is going to take her seriously?
