Sex & The City Part 2 - It's Happening!

Just after news that Candace Bushnell is writing the prequels to Sex and the City…..
At the DVD release party Thursday night, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, and director/writer Michael Patrick King confirmed a Sex and the City: The Movie sequel!
SJP admitted to milking the brand, saying, "Let's wring everything we can out of this thing!"
In the meantime, what is the rest of SATC up to?
Cynthia Nixon, who was also present at the Public Library launch party (Complete with pink carpet!) with her partner, just won an Emmy for her guest appearance on Law & Order: SVU, adding to her first Emmy and Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play.
All she needs is a Grammy and an Oscar to pull a Rita Moreno!
Kristin Davis was in Los Angeles, but her on-screen husband Evan Handler was present, preparing for a tour with his book about surviving cancer. His show with David Duchovny, Californication, returns to Showtime in September.
We can't wait for Sex and the City to return to the big screen!
Hopefully the second film is better than the so-so first!

I loved the show, but Perez is being kind with the so/so. The movie was abysmal. Whoever thinks otherwise obvious has low standards for films they see.

I think Sarah Jessica is very beautiful. So what if she has an unusual face? She is still very cute. I have trying to unravel the mystery of why Perez rags so badly on these gals who have absoluely nothing in the world wrong to deserve this kind of treatment. Like Rumor. Her face is a little uncoventional, but do you have to outright make fun of her, I don't think so. For someone who is so much for "equal rights" you have a real weird way of showing it. I have a feeling your "equal rights" are very, very superficial, and only bend and twist to your own preception of what you what them to be.

SJP had released a statement saying that she's taken two years to get where she's at &she doesn't want to be greedy…. she pretty much said that she didn't want to do a sequel (which doesn't surprise me, considering all the rumors of fighting on set… &lets be real here, none of them are getting younger- &that does include the dreamy christopher noth….homeboy is starting to get that salt &pepper hair… &i dont mean it in the way anderson cooper has it ::sigh::)

OK! I'm going to start off by saying I"m a HUGE Sex and the City fan like seriously.
BUT, WTF!!!! okay they made the movie to be the end and well i was in love with the movie i mean it was perfect, but i honestly don't think they should even be making anymore sex and the city movies, i mean its going to hurt the title and not only that its going to make the stars and the creator look bad, can't they just leave the series as is. i mean it took years to make the movie and now since it was a success they are going to make another i just think that thats not a good idea.
Sorry to have wrote this gave me alot to think about, but i guess. i mean i'm still going to go see it lol but yeah i just don't think they should make it if they r making more movies they should just bring the show back on air.
