"The Adaptive Design Association works to ensure that children with disabilities get the customized equipment they need to participate fully in home, school, and community life.
Training
ADA offers introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses in adaptive design and construction. Participants work with common materials such as cardboard, plastic, fabric, wood, and basic electronics.
Equipment Development
ADA operates a community-based workshop where occupational and physical therapists, teachers, parents, and volunteers work with the ADA staff to design and construct a wide array of adaptive equipment.
Outreach
ADA promotes the expansion of adaptive design services through collaboration with schools, universities, hospitals, parent groups, and area businesses."

Handicapped children should be aborted or instutionalized, just like Sarah Palin's retard kid. They're too much trouble and they aren't cute, just a burden on everyone around them. The planet doesn't need these non-essentials.

That's a fabulous cause, Perez!!! And it's not just your "normal special needs kids." I'm deaf with a CI and legally blind and I've only JUST been exposed to everything that can help me because I came from a little town in the middle of nowhere. There were special needs kids there that couldn't always get what they needed because there wasn't enough of the equipment or money. Associations like this are so important!!!!!
