Miley's Neighbors Threaten the Paparazzi

Uh oh!

Miley Cyrus ~~stalkers~~ snappers are getting screwed by her neighbors.

The 'neighborhood police' on her Toluca Lake, California, street are issuing paparazzi photographers with a formal 'Notice of Nuisance and Demand to Cease and Desist'.

Is that legal? Does that mean anything?

Do the paparazzi care????

I can understand why it would bother the neighbors. Personally, I wouldn't want paps and 'looky loos' lingering around in front of my home. But, unless they are creating a disturbance, I doubt that anything could be done.

I hope this does stop them - we all know that it's the Cyrus' who call the paps anyways. I think it's a lovely passive aggessive move by the neighbours towards the Cyrus'. Can you see it? The first celeb family to move so they CAN be snapped 24/7.

Re: zoey – Unfortunately, not ALL neighborhoods have codes [i.e. conditions] and restrictions, that prohibit/discourage paparazzi.
I VERY BRIEFLY researched California paparazzi laws, and I found that it only involves injury, death and/or accidents (as in the Princess Di incident). It does not cover 'camping out' within camera shot of a celebrities homestead.
If you found any other statutes, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

Re: Anonymous – Nobody should have to live in a gated community, especially a 15 year old. It's ridiculous that any celebrity has to even consider living in such an area. They should be able to live on normal streets, like normal people, without worrying about whether anybody is going to swarm there and take unnecessary and innapropriate candid pictures of them. And people honestly wonder why some celebrities go crazy? Can you imagine having 25 people outside of your house when you leave and come home, staying in the middle of the night? Can you imagine how this would affect yourself, your family, your friends and your neighbors?
