You have two dads that I'm sure love you very much and want you to be safe, loved, and well taken care for. You are a fortunate child to be in that situation, and should be thanking your parents and your lucky stars. But a lot of times, gay people are so wrapped up in their own little worlds and sub-cultures their brains are like on autopiolet directed towards almost nothing but human rights, gay rights, ultra liberal garb, etc., etc. Those are important issues, but not nearly as important as international affairs on the strenght and power of the US Military. Unfortunately, Obama is not nearly a strong enough character to tackle those most important issues. Remember the President of the United States is also Commander in Chief of the entire US Military. Do you want him with that job? I don't think so. Good luck on trying to convince your parents of that though, it probably won't happen.

If it doesn't bother Mark Buse that he works for McCain, why should it bother any of you? He may not agree with his lifestyle, but it says a lot about John McCain that he can overlook that. BTW, Sarah Palin is NOT against homosexuals. She doesn't believe in homosexual marriage but she does believe in equal rights for domestic partnerships. So, how does that make her anti-gay?

There are gay republicans ya know…big deal. McCain is not a gay hater…never has been. I'd be willing to bet that if the TRUTH be known that McCain is less racist against gay people than Obama is, can't tell me that BO loves gays. He did go to a chuch that preached hate against anyone who wasn't black, imagine what they've said about gays. I'm just saying to call all republicans gay-haters is not entirely true. I know a lot of gay people who are supporting McCain in this election, granted they usually keep it quiet or face the wrath of Obama followers who go on the attack..but gay republicans are out there.

Very true. People want to jump and assume McCain and Palin are against gays when in fact they aren't. McCain has often been one of the few Republicans to be open-minded on many fronts…even when some in his own party did not agree. There are a lot of Dems out there who are NOT as tolerant as some Reps are about the gay issue.

As a military wife, daughter, granddaughter and sister I totally agree with you in regards to Obama's lack of experience in regards to dealing with the military. I want a candidate that knows the troubles first hand that military families go through. My husband and little brother did time in the Middle East. Both came home alive, but there is NO way Obama would know how I felt at that time. I'm an Independent: I'm for gay rights and abortion rights, I'm also pro-gun and death penalty. I've seen McCain's voting record and I've seen Obama's "voting" record. McCain has also explained how he's going to accomplish his goals. I have yet to hear Obama lay out any plan. I'm going for McCain. I know that I can trust my husband's career with someone who is former military and a veteran at that.
